You actualy don't need to remove an airbag or even unscrew the button unit. You just remove that silver trim around this button, use a 2 screw drivers from both sides of a button and it pops out easily. 3 min job 🫣
Anyone know how to remove the button group if you have paddles on the back of the wheel? I have removed the paddles and there appears to be no way of unscrewing them from the back. There is no hold like in the video.
You’ve probably sorted it by now, but for anyone else: there is a black T20 holding the controls in behind the paddle shifters once you remove them. It’s very difficult to see as it’s over to the left of the wheel.
Thanks for this. Was unlucky enough to snap my timing chain not knowing this was a weakness with the car a while back and had to replace the engine. This saves me from a lot of worrying
Hey, i have a problem, my ista doesnt go past the step at 1:46. it Shows my car and as i Hit connect it goes back and say Check egnition. And idea How to fix this?
this just makes BMW the most uber morons in the complete auto world.... WHY THE FUCK YOU HIDE THIS???? PS bought BMW 1 from 2004(!!!!!) like 2 weeks ago, PS AMAZING VIDEO BRO!
@@headliner4936 also i can hear it during engine braking just the same as accelerating. Can be heard in any revs apart from idle or very low revs. It was done about 70000 km ago
Hi, i’m having the same problem like yours with my e61 5series with the same engine. I think i saw also 1 nox sensor on ebay from germany but it has different partnumber. Would it effect the working or is it okay I’ll buy it? Thanks in advance!
@@jeromegabriel1256 not all N43 2.0 are the same. Like N47 (318d, 320d, 325d with 2.0d). They may have different upgrade lines . Like N47N, N47U0, N47U2, N47TU. Please check your part number by your VIN at bmw parts catalog online. And I think everything will be OK.
My car idle is weird, when i accelerate harded to like 3-4k rpm and then put it in neutral gear, it stalls. Only codes i have are NOx sensor related, could it be the issue?
Yeah, I talked with some friend mechanic and he's gonna delete that since i don't really have money for new NOX sensor. Is the car ok to take for longer trip (300km) before removing the NOX? @@headliner4936
@@kozaa7253hi can you please update us after a nox delete how is the car holding because i am planing to do the same but all i can find is the videos for some diesel engines noone posted nox delete for petrol engine
I've had thissame infamous swishing sound for 3 years now and i've been kinda worried it's the chain. It's been getting much worse this autumn and today I finally got up to checking it by taking off the belt and the noise is completely gone, no swishing sound. The belt itself was from 2008 and so is the car so the pulleys are likely original too. Bought new tensioner, delfection pulley and the belt and gonna change them tomorrow. Hope this fixes it.
@@406xud Very well could be, I'm not gonna replace it for now since it's kind of expensive. It could be any of the remaining pulleys. I'll be changing waterpump soon and i'll report back if that could be the one but highly doubt.
@@axuli99I changed my alternators last summer bc the battery was not getting charged. I drive a 320d from late 2010 and the swirling sound was gone after the change. My mech changed the belt, tensioner and alternator. If you changed all except that part, the bearing is almost toast. Check if your Voltage is properly loaded when you are driving.
Thank you very much for this video! Thanks to him, I was able to figure out why there was no connection between the program and the machine. Instead of USB, I have some other connections. After disconnecting one of the connections, I was able to see the machine in the program and connect.
Hello guy, I own a 2009 model 318i gasoline vehicle, everything is normal when I start my vehicle in the morning, but after 15 20 minutes, it starts to vibrate and traction drops, rolanti fluctuation and the fault lamp starts to flash. When I connect my vehicle to the computer, I received a warning of 2af2 failure and catalytic Converter failure, I wonder
Hey, did the nex NOx sensor hold up, or did it brake again? Has the catalytic converter ever been replaced on that car (at 200+ thousand kms it should have broken down, at least thats what they say). I just bought an N43 petrol E90 and am having NOx sensor errors, and I'm pondering whether I should get a new sensor from ebay or pay 3 times as much for a NOXEM emulator. My car is at 170K kms and Im afraid that the catalytic converter itself may die at any moment now, in which case replacing the sensor would be a rather temporary solution as opposed to installing NOXEM and forgetting about the catalytic converter and NOx sensor forever.
