For up part I used a yard and a for the gathers I used 2 and half yards.. but it all depends on how long the upper part will be and haw full you want the gather’s.
Ur teaching isnt good ,u said its beginners friendly but its not,the 2inch allowance you are suppose to tell us, one for dart replacements and the other for sewing allowance
@stellaegwim2310 no dear i forgot to draw out our that line in the back bodice But what I am saying is if you forget to draw it out on paper it fine just remember to take you dat when sewing on fabric
You should try to post the cutting and the sewing parts of any tutorial because there're so many beginners who would want to watch half video because it might confused them somehow it will help you get more subscribers too , just my thoughts thou, well done for the cutting part.

@@precybambam if you are taking the dart then you take it and after mark your actual waist and sew . But if not just mark your actual measurement and sew . But you know there is a way you can put a dart on your trousers but it will be invisible because you draft first on paper and tape it before transferring to your fabric
