This is where i will share all my astrophotography video's that i make from all the picture's that people from around the world (and myself) have collected and given me permission to share them with all of you.
All editing/processing is done via the program Pixlnsight.
I Bikes great video, I didn't know how to do it, it's a bit long, but it's great all the same. Being a beginner it's always nice to learn new ways of doing things. I thank you for this video and I'm looking forward to the next ones, good sky! Patrick from France
of course - www.firstlightoptics.com/ioptron-mount-accessories/ioptron-alt-azimuth-adjustable-base.html - its called a iOptron Alt-azimuth Adjustable Base, works very well for the seestar as the seestar is light.
when using the seestar, yes thats correct your subtract 90 from your latitude number (+51 minus 9 is -39) as technically the wedge is facing south, not north, as you can see in the video. Its abit confusing i know but its easy once you work it out
I have borrowed a SeeStar S50 from my astronomy club. I plan on buying one. I am so amazed at what these little scopes can do. And you have done a great job processing these shots.
thank you :) no i personally use Pixlnsight for all my processing, what most do is stack the frames on their end either using Siril or DSS, then upload the fit file and i'll edit in Pixlnsight. Or if the stack dont come out right i'll stack and process in Pix
Mosaic mode at the moment is done on the 3rd party program (seestar_alp) but as far as im aware we will soon have mosaic mode as ZWO made a recent announcement saying they was working on mosaic mode, when it comes out though we just dont know
The feature isn't released yet, but you can always do manual mosaics.... just make sure you have enough overlap to use a stitching program to put them together.
