Thanks for showing the CORRECT nearest point of relief, even though it was not on the side closest to the ball, I have seen so many videos (even by PGA Club Pros) that show you to take the drop on whatever side the ball is closest to.
If your ball lands in a bunker and a previous golfer did not rake the bunker, can you repair the surface of the bunker of the footprint before you take your shot, or do you have to take your shot from in the footprint? 😢

Punta Espada can be overwhelming with the sensory experience. It is simply breath taking and a bucket list course. It is far and away the best course in the Caribbean.
I used to be the club handicapper and studied the rules very carefully. It has been two decades since then and I am amazed at the number of differences that are now commonplace. It really doesn't matter as long as everyone on the course is playing by the SAME rules. Yet I laugh to see how far we have come from "the ball should be played as it lies" from the earliest days of golf.
so many rules are just rediculous, but i also agree with most. caddies shouldn't be allowed to advise at all. the player is called a "pro" for a reason and should act like one.
I have heard that golf cruise passengers often go all the way to play "Winston". It looks great on the photos. But I wonder if it is worth the quite high greenfee. There are so many courses to chose from in Germany and while the selection in this clip is interesting, I am sure many viewers might come with a very different ranking. BTW, the whole idea was to speed up play. It depends. If everyone in the group either leaves it in or pulls it then play is sped up. If some players do and some don't then this definitely slows play down. btw... Dave Pelz did extensive testing about this as early as 1990. He agrees with this assessment.
