I want to survive from my dividend. And earn R10 000 quarterly from my combined IPOs. So how much must I have on my EasyProperties portfolio to earn R10000 quarterly?
Mine didn't send me the email but when i try to enter my information it says revive account or password reset when j tap revive and enter my email i recieve an email saying no username linked with this email found😢😢
Hi Refilwe. As far as I know, the company or intermediary paying those dividends already withhold the tax and pay it to SARS and also give them the documents. We just have to declare the dividends on the ITR12.
@refilweraseroka9961 yeah, I don't think you get anything back since they only take the tax portion. There might be special situations where people get a portion back, but you'd have to check with SARS directly.

It all depends on you, what you want to achieve, your risk appetite, the potential reward you want, the term you want to invest for, etc. One thing to remember with easy properties is that you can't just sell whenever you want to. There are specific times when they have auctions. Personally, I use both, because I believe in diversifying my portfolio. If you can figure out what your risk appetite and all those things are, you'll be able to decide which is best for you.

Hi Vusimuzi. Thanks for watching. The last time I checked, Rev wasn't taking people, because a lot of people had already joined. You can still try your luck though. They pay via PayPal, there's no need to cash out, they do it automatically. In order to cash out from PayPal you need to link your bank account to PayPal. Anyone can join if they pass the test and if there is space. I hope this helps.
Hey. On EasyEquities you make profit when you sell your shares for more than what you bought it for... If you're looking for something where you can make money when the markets go up or down, the only thing I know where that happens is with trading (forex, Crypto, stocks, etc). I would suggest that you search for info which will help you choose companies to invest in. There are quite a few factors to consider, things like what type of stocks you would like to invest in and then you need to look at the company's Financials and all that in order to be able to decide. Every investor invests for different reasons so you need to find which companies are best for you based on your risk appetite, how long you want to invest for, how you want to diversify your portfolio, etc. I hope you'll find the info you need to help you out.

I got a bit lost there, it requires I enter a 3 charactercode of which I dont know what it is. I Googled it and found that my countries Tax residence is ZAF but when I enter it, it says "no results found"... I am stuck there and I can't advance any further. Please assist me

Hi Moses. Please check if you didn't leave a space at the of the username... For instance if your username is "Moses123" make sure you didn't type "Moses123 " (take note of the space at the end).

Hi. It's a matter of preference, it depends on you. I use Capitec and ABSA so I deposit money using both. You can choose whichever you want, also take banking charges into consideration. Also, I don't think using credit to invest is a good idea. Remember : this is not financial advice.
Hi. I'm not sure what good returns means to you. It means different things to different people. Also, your risk appetite, investment period and such needs to be factored in when choosing companies. It's up to you to determine which companies have returns which are good enough for you. The broker I use is EasyEquities.
Hi Sgede. I don't see the option to transfer money to the USD account the widget way. I just see options for ZAR and TFSA. I usually just deposit money into my ZAR account and then transfer on the app.
Hi Talitha. Open your app, click on "my funds", choose the account you want to deposit money into, for instance TFSA. At the top you'll see "EFT Reference", that's the reference you'll use. You can just click on "copy" and then paste it into your banking app.

Hey Jeremy. You have options. You can either deposit money directly into the different accounts, ie Property, USD, BEE, etc or you can deposit money into the ZAR account and then transfer it to whichever account using the EasyEquities application.
Hey again Jeremy. Re-read your comment, ignore the 1st response. You can sign into EasyEquities via the Capitec app and transfer (deposit) the money that way. They claim to give you a 20% discount on brokerage fees if you do that.

Hi Agnes, open the app then click on "Forgot password". At the bottom right hand of the page, there should be a circle with a red line or there should be an option to chat to the robot/ forgot username. Once you've selected one of those options that show up, the robot will request the email address which you used to register your account and you'll get further instructions from there... I hope it gets sorted out. 😉

Hi Kabelo, I missed your comment, sorry. You can just contact SARS and ask how you can register for a tax number. Before covid, one could just walk into a branch and they'd help, but now they probably have a way of doing it online or by appointment. I hope this helps.
Hi Wiseman, when you open the app, you'll see the "forgot password" link. Click on it, input your username, click on "Request new password" and EasyEquities will send you a reset link via email. If you've forgotten your username, there's a chat option at the bottom after you've clicked on "Forgot password"... Hope you get it sorted.
Hi Azor. It's a code which EasyEquities has for each of their existing members. If your friend or family member told you about EasyEquities, you can use their code when you sign up and EE will reward both of you.
