Just got your UTE lite to replace my tried and true QUI-YA. Took it on a three day backpacking trip to 12,000 feet and it did phenomenal! It’s by far the best pack you have made!
beautiful valley, i can see why it gets used often!! thanks for taking us along with you on the hike & sharing the beautiful country!! be safe out there!!
Beautiful country Evan. When you're out there with no-one around looking at those mountains you truly realize how small we are on the grand scale. Awe inspiring. Nate
LOL a bus full of college prep students... I'd have turned around that day, too. We were on an intro-to-backpacking trip with one of my son's friends a couple years ago. Short but steep trail to a fairly popular lake -- nothing spectacular or over-exposed by social media, but with sadly obvious evidence of overuse by less-than-respectful fishermen. We'd just set up camp when a DOZEN teenaged boy scouts showed up. I was not happy. However, they were the quietest, most respectful group of teenagers one could possibly have encountered. Hardly knew they were there. Even so, if I had known they were coming, I'd have made a different choice when the trail forked, and I'm not likely to go back to that lake anytime soon.
Can this have the big pockets like the Truckee Pack? I need that version for reasons. Like I want room for two rifles and one in my hands. I don’t trust the current military members.
Great video! I'm a big fan of the 1st Gen Tundras. I own a 04 Double Cab Tundra. Glad I came across your channel. Nice set up. Nothing flashy & unnecessary. Simple build & everything has a purpose.
@@TheGreatAsthenia we did it this past spring. we're doing m81 woodland in the next month or so, and will add all black back into rotation early next year.
I emailed Beau L’amour today and asked if there were any plans to present The Haunted Mesa in audiobook format. He actually responded within an hour! He recommended this video, even sent a link, saying “It’s a fun video…”. Unfortunately, for me anyway, it was a negative on the audiobook but I was introduced to this great video and also had my faith in good people restored when Beau returned my email with a sincere and heartfelt response.
