I just got the 28" Vevor for under $200, and it does an excellent job. My 30" Seiki was like $750 and the Vevor keeps up with it. I don't know that it will last over 15 years like the Seiki has, but at that price point, it don't have to.

Can I ask what that plant is in front of the deck? I’m looking to have something like that in a corner of the yard.

I hear you man. I' also retired worked for 12 different sign companies in my lifetime and learned much on signmaking. Started hand painting then the computers came in the rest is history. Glad you did a demo on the Vevor cutter bc i was thinking on getting one. Thanks great video

Vevor vinyl cutters have a major flaw. I know I have owned two. The pinch rollers dig into the material. Its fine if its a small piece you only use the rollers on the edge of the material but when cutting larger pieces you need the center pinch roller so it tracks. You get what you pay for!!

Have you tried adjusting the tension so they don't dig into the material? Your sound adjust it with different materials

Hello, I just watched your video and tho it was very interesting, I need more in depth training on how to set my machine up to cut paint mask lettering and design stencils for airbrushing. I used to have a sign shop that would make everything I need for a small price, hand it to me, and I would rush home, apply the stencil, follow with any needed masking and then once all of my colors were mixed, I could airbrush my way to some really cool 3D lettering and more over the top of whatever paint project I was doing. I bought all the equipment and materials, but don't have a clue how to set up the cutter plotter and also don't have a clue how to operate the software. I really thought this was going to be much easier to figure out but I was wrong. Are there any books or videos out there that teach this amazing trade from the very beginning, to the end, and everything in between? I really need help and am willing to purchase whatever I need to learn. I bought the Vevor 53" cutter/plotter, then tons of software to do everything you can imagine, but need to learn how to use all of it. I really appreciate what you do to help people, I'm sorry I'm so far away from understanding but hopefully one day I could pull this off and learn how to do everything my old sign shop did for me until I retired and moved far away to Southern Nevada. Thank you for thinking about this

sorry for the late reply, had some issues to deal with....what parts do you still need help with and is there a particular project you would like me to work on and provide a step by step video on "how to".

I wasn't looking for this video content, but I stayed and watched the whole thing. (I originally came for your Vevor test--- which was very helpful) I'm toying with the idea of a website and this gives me encouragement to go ahead and try it -- albeit imperfectly. I never considered video, as I'm averse to being in front of any camera--- but the way you presented this gives me pause. Maybe it IS just a skill that I could master. So, tally this comment in the positive column. Thanks for posting!

absolutely...any skill can be mastered with practice and the sooner we realize that we are not all perfect and there is always room for improvement it gives us hope that we can do it and anything is possible!...I am super happy this gave you encouragement.

Will your machine cut Oracle Vinyl?
@yammerinthehammer
@yammerinthehammer 5 месяцев назад
sorry for the late response...no excuses. Yes it will...there is an adjustment that allows you to change pressure very easily as all vinyls are slightly different so doing a test cut prior to each vinyl change especially from manufacturer to manufacturer is recommended. I was using 70 grams of pressure and just put on an unknown brand and had to reduce it to 40 grams (will also go up all the way to 600 grams of pressure for thicker materials)

sorry for the late response...no excuses. I can do a video on adjusting the blades and this will also cut vinyl for tshirts. Remember HTV must be mirror cut as everything is in reverse.

i just got the 53in Venvor and i was wandering if i have to use the softwear with it? or can i use inkspace?
@yammerinthehammer
@yammerinthehammer 5 месяцев назад
sorry for the late response...no excuses. You would need to use the software for cutting as inkspace does not have the drivers. You would just need to import your file into Signmaster as an .svg or .ai etc. (any vector based file format)
