Just beginning to figure out what I want to do. I like filming and sharing experiences. I am a self proclaimed nerd. I hope you enjoy and stick around for the ride. Thanks for checking me out!
@@michaelaris58 if you have Facebook. You can join the official EF river group and ask one of the moderators for help. They respond really quickly and will help out fast. That’s where I go.
@@hypernate1481 Thanks, I’ve been on one of the groups, there’s been no definitive answer, not even to a video that was posted with the same issue. I’ll chase EF next week.
The power button on mine isn't working. Only way to power it on is when I connect the unit to charge. I contacted their cs and they might be processing a replacement for me. I barely even used it and it's 4 only months old.
Is default A/C operation when first turned on 50Hz or 60Hz frequency? Want to get one but do not want to have to need a smartphone. All power in North America is 60Hz so I don't understand if default is 50Hz.
I wouldn’t recommend Ecoflow as their support is nonexistent. I purchased River 2 max and the USB-C port died in the first 30 minutes. Now it is already weeks without any solution from EcofFlow. Neither trough their chat service via the app, nor via the email support. If they are not servicing or replacing brand new defective unit, good luck getting any support from them within the promised 5 years warranty. I’m lucky I can return my unit to the shop and never ever have to do anything with EcoFlow again. I recommend you stay away from the products of this scam company too. I was also smart enough to start screen recording the useless conversations with their support team. Video is coming soon.
I did not find any markings on the battery cells themselves. But i Am guessing that they are CATL cells based on color. And 20ah sounds about right for the rated wh and voltage.
The River 2 has an issue with charging. It easily gets confused about hitting it's limit setpoint and just keeps charging and charging and charging even though it's within 1% of it's setpoint.... hundreds of Watts, hour after hour, where is all that energy going? lol. I'm assuming its a software issue but I am over it, returning mine.
