Lulu actually wrote this song for Queen Tina Turner, as the theme song for Tina's biopic movie in 1993: What's Love? A phenomenal song, and beautifully performed here by the writer. Tina's version is beyond description: awesome.
12:43 disgusted at whoever the lady was who laughed at the story of the 12 year old girl being held down by her older sister and sa'd by her elder brother. I hope that wasn't Lulu. What a depraved generation of people.
White girl has no soul nor look. Like cheap Casting Show Z-elebrities in 21st Trash Millenium! 🗑💩 Anything for a time machine 80ies/90ies Megasuperstars! ✨
I know she's retiring but if she ever fancied doing a whole album of Donna covers with the right producer that could be kind of interesting. 'Man who sold the world' was her best imo. Not sure though what the 10 yr olds in the front row made of this performance but I'm sure they learnt a thing or two or had a good laugh.
...this is....a LOT. *...a WHOLE DAMN LOT!* (2:31) ...ha-HAAA!! ...Lulu sounds incredible (and actually VERY similar to Donna's vocal delivery), but.....those Dancers were giving a WHOOOLE LOT, for December 1982!! ...ha-HAAA!! (1:35)
