I'm a RU-vidr who loves animals and paleontology and gaming. Some of my favourites are Zoo Tycoon 2, Planet Zoo, and Endless Ocean 2. I love the Jurassic franchise and talk about it all the time. I look forward to seeing you on my channel!
Tbh, I wish we got to see/find out what happened to Mantacorp Island. Since we see Big Eatie, one of the Mantacorp Raptors, and the brown dimorphadon being sold to the black market. (The ones I wish we knew the fates of are Little Eatie, Pierce, the Nothosaurus, Toro, the 8 dilophosaurus, the Spinosaurus, the Spinoceratops Angel and Rebel, Chaos, and the group of pteranodons.
No, the animals will only break out during storms or if they are uncomfortable. They don’t just run around, they eat, sleep, drink, socialize, and roam. They stuff is just meant to look cool for DLC trailers
This review was amazing. It was very polished and convincing. I was also very happy that this was a clean video. No bad language. Thank you so much for keeping things family-friendly. That's rare these days. I'm new to this channel and will check out your other content. Do you think you could review each individual episode of Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory and give them a rating out of 10? I would totally watch that.
Thank you so much for the kind comment! Though my videos are made for older audiences, I try to keep them clean. Though I may do a video like that in the future, I can't promise it'll be soon, apologies.
Very nice video. If I was to nitpick however, I gotta say that in my mind, reptiles are defined by their ability to lay eggs on dry land. So the first Amniotes would be the first Reptiles. Which would mean that both Diapsids and Synapsids are Reptiles as well. Which means Mammalia would be a clade within Reptilia, just like Birds are a clade within Dinosauria.
I respect your view on what defines a reptile, but that's not what the phylogenetic classification system labels it as. The kind of classification you're suggesting is more akin to the Linnaean taxonomic system, which is limited and in many cases inaccurate.
@@Paracanthus well, not really. Perhaps I wasn’t clear. I’m using the modern cladal system. According to the Linnaean system, mammals are their own separate thing from reptiles, birds are their own separate thing from reptiles, and so on. But that’s not what I’m saying. The only way in which I differ from the modern cladal system described in the video is that I’d just like to see them switch one of the labels around for the different clades that’s all. Just rename the Amniotes as “Reptilia” and I’d be happy. But of course it’s not my decision, I’m just a lay person and I realize I really have no say.
@@frederickd.provoncha8671 I understand. As such, I also have to say that if in my video I labelled all Amniotes as reptiles, it would be irresponsible of me. This is not what is accepted in the larger scientific field.
@@Paracanthus FWIW, I have on occasion defended the modern cladal system. I called out a video recently for using the term dinosaur incorrectly. A couple of Linnaean apologists responded to my comments criticizing me. <Sigh> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lJ7gFCH_aEc.htmlsi=CaGuzcOlrM2WH1yi
I love this series so much and the fact we have a second series is just amazing and so surreal. I cannot wait to see what more of the Jurassic Series has in store. ( I also may or may not have talked about the series with Paracanthus after every episode )
@@Dr.Ian-Plect Nope, mammals are social animals because of they're young feeding behaviors. Some animal like worms and some fishes just abandoned they're eggs and will not care about it.
What does scientist will say if hypothecaly that they discovered that earlier Synapsids like furst Synapsids has the first primitive mammary gland, maybe they will considered mammals are aren't a new class of animals anymore but part of the class Synapsida.
Evolution 2 absolutely donkey licks Operation Genesis and it is not even close. Evolution 2 without a doubt is the best the park builders have to offer.
If animals matter morally it is imperative to be Vegan. There is no need to eat animals to be healthy. Today many mainstream health professionals support the idea that eating animal fat and animal protein is bad for health, better or worse one thing is for sure it certainly not a need. There is absolutely no need to use animals for clothing, entertainment, or experimentation. If there is no need to use animals, doing so makes it a moral wrong: an immoral act. Secondly, climate change and what is the 6th mass extinction event we are experiencing now is being driven by animal agriculture. We kill over 80 billion land animals and over a trillion sea animals per year for food alone. Even if we transition from fossil fuel to cleaner energy the results would continue to be: over fifty percent of land use going to animal agriculture, leading the way in habitat loss, water misuse, and unmanaged water waste continuing as a great big problem including in the oceans, and the obvious direct harm from humans hunting or enslaving them as property for other uses. Animal agriculture as a whole is completely inefficient and destructive. Above all animal agriculture is not needed so again it makes it an immoral act. Finally; when philosophers talk about something being a Person they are referring to entities that have an interest in their lives. Animals are sentient beings which means they are subjectively aware, there is something it is like to be that being. All sentient beings have an interest in their lives even if they can or cannot think about their lives in the way normally functioning sentient humans can. In the same way, there are differences in the types and levels of human consciousness and we do not regard those differences as mattering in order to accept such humans as persons; members of the moral community to whom we can have moral obligations, we should not allow any differences in sentience to matter to be regarded as a Person. If animals are non-human persons we must provide them the right not to be property. In order to value this inherent value one must act by being Vegan for justice. To learn more read Professor’s Gary Francione book: Why Veganism Matters: The Moral Value of Animals or any of his work.
It's an awesome game. I've just bought it and play the campaign and the other campaign dlc. Is it worthy the malta dlc?? Should I buy it or dive in the sandbox mode?
Hey para! I have some news I got hacked so I quickly left our server before my account sent stuff! So my new one is sammygutierezz. With the period btw but I am deleting that account rn! So add that one back to the camp grounds please < 3
I'm going to build a park containing all the mesozoic creatures that appeared in the canon and here they are. Apatosaurus Triceratops Stegosaurus Baryonyx Gallimimus Pteranodon Atrociraptor Carnotaurus Parasaurolophus Pachycephalosaurus Tyrannosaurus Spinosaurus Velociraptor Dilophosaurus Mosasaurus Ankylosaurus Brachiosaurus Nasutoceratops Allosaurus Compsognathus Mamenchisaurus Troodon Dimorphodon Microceratus Ceratosaurus Stygimoloch Moros Therizinosaurus Oviraptor Tylosaurus Iguanodon Herrerasaurus Kentrosaurus Pyroraptor Monolophosaurus Quetzalcoatlus Dreadnoughtus Giganotosaurus Tarbosaurus Sinoceratops Ouranosaurus Corythosaurus Nothosaurus I might also build a Hybrid Dinosaur Jurassic World park with only hybrid creatures like Scorpios, Indominus, Indoraptor and Spinoceratops. I might do that if more hybrids from the first game return and if the game might get more hybrid creatures.
If that's how you feel, then fine. I won't try and take that away from you. But I genuinely cannot and will never see how JPOG is superior to this at all.
@@siats142 No, it isn't. JPOG has honestly somewhat laughable terrain editing tools, a very small creature roster, incredibly limiting creativity with curved and diagonal fences not even being available. It has some good attractions, but that's truly the only upside of the game. It doesn't have lagoons nor aviaries, has only one biome and building set, and honestly lackluster gameplay.
I am here still wanting legit free range dinos like in Jurassic park operation genesis that isn't an exclusive to a setting in sandbox, plus something to give the dinos more character than what is already there, I am saying is enrichment items and buildable shelters for dinos, for now they don't do much, the social animations wear thin plus some maps restrict what dinos you can have in your park without warning you about hazards. Plus a dinoriding attraction.
