Hey, thanks for the video. I've heard that Meraki doesn't have enough headroom for hot pickups. I wonder what's your experience with it going through synths and stuff? ANy lack of headroom issue? Cheers
There is certainly a fair bit of crunch to the delayed sound which suits certain types of Techno. I don't know if this is due to lack of headroom or just the way those chips sound. I am a retired guitar teacher but haven't actually thought about trying it with a guitar yet. Also my unit has no high end at all (it is BB Delay after all) but also has a high cut control lol! My unit certainly won't do clean delays but it suits my type of music.

Thank you Sir! It took the passing of my parents a few years back to finally allow me to indulge in this expensive hobby. I should probably save some money for my son's future but Moog keep sending out these bloody synths lol! Have you seen the Mylarmelodies vids on Labyrinth? He is getting some crazy sounds out of it hooking up to other modular gear.
Candyman? nice sample. great track. well done! always love it when somebody makes an actual track with a beginning middle and end rather than the usaul random generation with no purpose. I do like random generation with no purpose but I LOVE tracks with a story to tell. See you next time!
Thanks so much. I am a retired rock guitar teacher but have always loved electronic music and try to apply some musical structure to the tracks. I find it does help to have a vocal sample even if it is only spoken word.

Cheers Jaffa! Don't know much about the Timeline but it looks good. The Zen Delay takes the delayed signal and feeds it through a 12AX7 vacuum tube which makes it proper gnarly. Great for Techno.
@@teknobaby83 That can be even more difficult esp. with GAS. 🤣 I love lucid dreams, only problem is to keep it going and to stabilize the environment. But it's great fun to experiment with this. 😄
It is all Midi clock. The master clock is sent from a 1010 music blackbox sampler but I also have a Squarp Pyramid which is the main sequencer and should probably be the master. The only bit of gear that was a problem was the Moog DFAM because it does not have midi but I bought a little device called Dthing which takes midi clock then sends clock (I think) to the sequencer advance input on the DFAM (not exactly sure how it works lol, but seems fine).
Thanks, didn't think Mixolydian would work well for techno but came out quite well. Will try Dorian at some point. The biggest challenge will be to change modes live and get all the gear to change at the same time. I only have one pair of hands lol!

Thanks, the MegaFM is amazing for doing techno stabs and chords. I still have no real understanding of how to properly use it, I just mess about until a happy accident happens and then save it as a preset
