At first I was like "ah, a joke!", but then I actually went and googled it. I would now like to announce that I am retiring as a RU-vidr and turning to being a lunar miner.
I wonder since all the locations are moons, what are they orbiting? Are they all orbiting Gordion? Or because theres so many of them it has to be a Gas giant like jupiter to have the gravity to have that may moons. Even though on the moons you never see a planet or the other moons only the sun and... THE MOON????? HOW IS THE MOON ORBITING A MOON????? HOW DOES EACH DIFFRENT MOON HAVE THE SAME EXACT MOON????? AS A GAME DEV MYSELF I UNDERSTAND ASSET SHORCUTS BUT HUH??????????
monster goes nom nom on golden planet and becomes VERY full and lethargic so goes and hides on gordeon and people go and make sure hes encased and hidden (2am theory dont take this literally)
Maybe the Company Monster is just an absolutely enormous Piglin. Not only did it eat a golden planet, gold bars are the scrap with the highest average sell price.
I like to imagine Zekers seeing this, finding it hilarious, then tweeking the lore to make this cannon, and never mentioning it to anyone, like the greatest of storytellers.
Something I really like about Jeb is how little we know about him. Any reveal or explanation of what he is would take away from the idea of an inconsciable, planet-devouring eldritch monster (or maybe just a joke character who knows), and I think that's rad as hell!
Gordion itself could be the golden planet. To quote a bbc article Gordion is "...the ancient capital of Phrygia, said to be ruled by the legendary King Midas, "the man with the golden touch"". The stories of the company monster might be exaggeration, instead the creature might have devoured the infrastructure down to the sea level of Gordion instead of the entire planet, then going into a hibernation like state. The company was likely formed to keep it from ever causing an event like this again by feeding the creature scrap. Would also explain why it hates loud noises and retaliates, it's got a bit of a food coma from consuming so much and wants to take a little power nap. The screams inside the building? Likely inhabitants of Gordion from before the attack.
Ya know the golden moon thing explains why the company building is under ‘moons’ despite obviously being on a planet, the building is built around something that ate a moon. Which also I guess explains why there’s so much water because the sheer size of the creature resulted in it having a gravitational pull which brought all the water to that area on the planet? (I don’t play lethal company and don’t wanna check if there’s actually water near the company building.) nvm like five seconds later the water thing was proven false EDIT: Yayy hearted comment :D
this is assuming that the golden planet has equal gravity to the earth, and that the golden planet is actually made of gold. it could just be a moon high in gold content but not completely made out of it, like the earth is with iron, or maybe it was metaphorical just meaning it's a significant planet, though that might be less likely given gold is the most valuable item in the game so it's probably the monsters favourite or maybe takes the longest to digest or something.
@@MrSquidWhiskers given how little information we have to work with it's fair, but the only thing i'd do differently is maybe measure what the strength of gravity is ingame and use that metric instead to guess the mass and size.
