good to see 6023’s cab, ive only seen her a few times when she visited the Dartmouth Steam Railway for the summer and after she left i never really heard anything!
Phantom is lurking as usual. I hope he hasn't got any naughty tricks up his chassis. He gives me the creeps. What's not to love about God's Wonderful Railway?
Well done for staring at the steam engine and not the boring old scenery. I'm proud of you. You can't beat riding behind a real steamy. Who wants to look at the scenery when steamies are running? Not me, I only ever do it when a stinky diesel forces me to. However, I like a Driver's Eye View with Mr. DMU, it's good to be able to see the track ahead sometimes.
I love the scenery equally to steam engines. It’s just nature in her best especially when you’re at exmoor. It may not be your cup of tea but it’s certainly mine

Had a close look at this loco in Minehead Station a couple of weeks ago... it's a bit sad looking .. some TLC wouldn't go amiss. It's stable mare shows it up.

Thanks mate, the WSR had a brilliant steam gala, diesel festival and now this! They are doing great work for 2024 so far with 44871 visiting Minehead on Saturday too!
CONGRATULATIONS to the Betton Grange organisation for completing the new build of another extinct class.I do beileive that`s two brand new loco`s finished and steaming now? Since emegrating to Australia I`ve lost touch with the heritage and preserved scene in the UK ;thank goodness for RU-vid ! Very well done to you all. smithy.
