His plane is in the ocean somewhere between the mainland and King Island. He was obsessed with UFO’s and I think he wanted it to happen so he made it happen. The strange noises are likely someone keying the mic and rubbing something over the mouthpiece to make the noise.
There are lots of theories about aliens. Those that make claims of certainties without verifiable evidence or at least a plausible story to support them are the least reliable. I don't know why people even write these kinds of posts.

The hypothesis is from a thread posted to reddit by someone claiming to have paid to be read in. It would be someone very wealthy. Their post history before they deleted it had many clues to who it was. I decided for their sake not to share the name but it becomes obvious if you read it closely. It's either someone larrping as them or actually them. Ross Coulthart gave a name recently (hint hint). Non-human intelligence (NHI) allegedly share Earth with humans. These beings are described as having evolved from sea life, residing in deep underwater environments near the earth core containing a substance called Ringwoodite (verified to exist recently). The author asserts that NHI are more technologically advanced due to their proximity to Earth's core as an energy source, but humans are catching up rapidly. The post suggests that human-NHI contact has been ongoing since World War II, involving military confrontations and diplomatic negotiations. Both species are said to be causing planetary damage, leading to a tense coexistence. Some UFO sightings are attributed to both human and NHI craft, with earths magnetic field playing a role in their propulsion technology. A deadline of 2027 is mentioned, possibly relating to a treaty expiration between humans and them. The author claims to have gathered this information through unconventional means, including discussions with scientists and government officials. I knew he was full of shit when he said "half the water left with the moon." How could there have been water on Earth when Earth was in her Hadean phase? Second, how could water have STAYED on Earth if there was no moon to hold Earth in her gravitational balance? Really, just make no sense.
A few very important notes: 1. First, great work collecting extremely rare footage as well as for compiling them into one single video. A huge number of these I had not seen before, and I absolutely love that most of the footage you compiled is not only LONG-uncut recordings but they are also older video from the digital camera/hand held camera generation (90's, early 2000's) well before drones (especially household drones) ever became mainstream. 3. If you don't mind, please, please if you can consider taking down the music overlay on your video here. It really does an injustice to the amazing collection/quality of footage you have and is a huge pet peeve within the UAP community as it evokes more of a gimmick/sensationalized add on that you would typically see on something like Ghost Hunters or Ancient Aliens. If this topic is to be taken seriously by the public as well as the government, then every attempt should be made to steer as far away as possible from being percieced as a stunt or just plain click bait "f**kery". Hi, I put this together and honestly got a little worried about releasing it. I'm probably being paranoid. I had my own encounter with a strange light and ever since then I just haven't wanted to really mess with it. So, the unlisted aspect was intentional. But every time I see someone post on Reddit about these things I share it because I don't think people realize how common these are and just how much sightings are increasing. I will make a new version soon without the music blaring and add a bunch more clips I have found. I think at that point I will make the new version public. It should be seen.

I'm a pilot and have a lot of experience in a similar plane and vintage. He died at 20 years old with 150 hours total time, VFR. That is definitely a low experience pilot. Minimum requirement for private pilot license is 40 hours but it takes most about 60 hours. He was not instrument rated and probably had only a handful of night flights. Night flights are challenging over cities and extremely difficult over open waters. There is virtually no way to know lights above are 1,000 feet above. Even experienced, commercial pilots are unable to reliably judge distance because there are no visual references. I also set my planetarium software to that time, date, and location and did not see any celestial explanation for the four bright lights. Though I can't explain what those four lights might have been. He was attempting to do a night flight over open water several hours after sunset. Distance was about 160 miles almost entirely over open waters. In a Cessna 182, that would be about an hour and 45 minutes one way. Certainly, doable but risky because of lack of visual reference and the pilot being young, inexperienced, and not instrument rated.

Thanks for your reply, like I said yours is one of the better videos out there you did a good job. It is hard when there is so much miss information out there on the internet. It doesn't upset me I am glad people are keeping Freds memory alive. I tried my best to piece together the story based on the information available online, but I apologize for any inaccuracies that made their way into the video. I know there is a lot of misinformation out there that gets perpetuated, and I'm sure there are many details that only those who knew Fred personally would be aware of. I'm truly sorry for any pain that videos like mine dredge up. While I aimed to be respectful, I'm sure it's still difficult for Fred's loved ones to have his disappearance constantly re-examined by strangers online. i have an image of Valentin having some kind of 2001 (Space Odyssey) style encounter - the words with ATC are phenominal, such as: "its seemingly playing with me", "its just vanished", "its just hovering above me", "the speed [of the UFO] is exceptional" & then finally of course those words: "its NOT an aircraft" For me i think he seems a level headed & cautious chap, now what is it 40+ years since this happened i love his parents belief that he is still alive somewhere (with the aliens)" as clearly this a UFO encounter. Also, just as he believed in UFO's in his personal life makes absolutely zero difference in my view as to whether this incident is what it appears to be, he was flying straight, well good pilot, good aircraft to suddenly just vanish i think he been welcomed into 1 of our galactic brother species & i for 1 am jeolous, i think :-D
I know what happened. The payload of 4 people on that plane needed to go. They decided to try a new toy. So, this is why they have two satellites on this ordinary plane. The frequency needed for this was explained by HUTCHINSON.
There are speculations that they were leaked by someone on the inside. There is a name, an indiviual that may have done it according some people. But that's not information that I personally want to spread around b/c I can't support it being accurate.

They say that the US government has contact with an extraterrestrial species, and that sometimes they do business with them, exchanging technology for people, and the video has two camera shots, satellite and a drone, and because the drone was behind the plane filming ? Maybe that year they had another agreement to exchange technology for humans, and they chose the plane and the time of kidnapping, then the USA sent the drone to follow the plane to film something incredible, curious to know how the UFOs were going to kidnap the plane.
good video. on the "low IQ" and poor academics thing, it would be worthy to check if the RAAF really claimed that (as it's said in the report) before concluding it's only to discredit him. either the RAAF was already thinking that before the crash or it wasn't
