Good video. I like this run, especially when its open to the valley bottom. The lift back is excellent also back to above Kleine Sc...So many options in Jungfrau region.
I think this is Red 16 not Gran Pista. I skied down here accidentally meaning to ski down Gran Pistaa only to find myself tat Jouvenceaux instead of the bottom of the Sportinia lift. However, I maybe wrong!
@@kriskruger6064 Having watched another video they too end up at the Jouveneaux ski lift. as I had a ticket for the Blue Line bus after ending up there on Monday for the rest of the week managed to find the "right" route back to the Sportinia lift. Thanks for sharing the video I took a GoPro camera but never found the time to set it up and film anything.
if you noticed, most of S.Colomb slopes are under the sun light, at least partly ... that's why , while we've been to Bormio, we preferred Oga-Lemotte-S.Colombano ... it was wonderful !
I do wish the person who created the London Tube map had been interested in skiing. Clearly no-one from any of the resorts with ski maps I have seen, has ever seen the London Underground map. It is a real job matching videos to the map. Thankfully I have a PDF digital version which I can blow up to 500%.
Hey Kris - great vid. We’re in VD at the moment - just wanted to check that this was defo Arcelle (red)? We’re trying tk figure out how to get to Au Bout Du Monde restaurant which, apparently, is on this red run. Did you see it? I’ve watched your vid and can’t see it on the footage….
Super Video!
At 81, with a 'dicky ticker' and arthritic knees, I'll never do that again, but I enjoyed your long run and it brought back many pleasant memories, but it makes me wonder why I never went to Tignes!
FWIW there is a guy in the US who's 100 + and he still skis, you can have tablets for your ticker, and for your knees you can get a Ski-Mojo. And cold liver oil tablets or glycosamide will help your knees. BTW, I'm 66 and all-being-well next season - 2024 - I'll be taking skiing up again after a 35 year gap. See you on the slopes/runs. 😉
Great video. Heading out tomorrow, how many loose stones/rocks were there at the top of aiguille percée as I know it can get sketchy. Working out whether to take my new or older skis. Ta.
