@burkhousehold8880 I’ve just mainly used the math, up to 2nd grade. I would love to continue with the literature. I plan to use various aspects of Memoria Press in future grades. This was my 2nd go round with the Jr. Kindergarten. I will use it again with child #3.
We love going to the Home Depot workshop, we missed it this month because we took a trip , but looking forward to November. Thank you for taking us along. 💗☺️
Love this challenge 😊, I have been thinking about wearing more dresses and skirts for a few years now, but as of recently the Lord has been tugging at my heart to began to make the change. I'm excited but very nervous as well just asking for your prayers as I start this modesty journey, and I loved all of your selections . Very stylish and classy 😊 Peace & blessings
I fell in love with Shirley when I worked as a one on one therapeutic helper for a child in a charter school where it was taught. The kids were so pleased with themselves and their own skill development, and I learned a ton myself! When I began homeschooling I knew I wanted to include it!
We did Phonics first and my 5 year old is easily able to decode the words in the primer lessons. She is on lesson 40 of the primer now. This is still an option for parents who don't want to teach sight words. There is still a lot of value in this learn to read curriculum. Even when child reads phonetically words naturally become sight words. The repetition in the primer speeds that process.
The curriculum is called Primer? We have started using Teach your child how to read in 100 easy steps and I'm starting to second guess on if I like it. I do like the whole phonics first though which is why I ask!
That’s great!🎉🎉 With my first child I did sight words for a few lessons, then phonics & back to sight words. Now with my second child I’m doing the phonics first. I like how easy it is to adjust to your child & how you want to teach them to read.💖 Thanks for sharing your experience with this curriculum.🥰
The curriculum is called Learn to Read by Easy Peasy All in One Homeschool. It’s divided into different sections. The McGuffey Primer is one of the sections.
Thank you so much for your beautiful reviews of Catholic bibles! it has helped me to make a decision. I really appreciate your thorough walk-through in such a calm way. God bless you sister! <3
I have the great adventure Bible. The divine mercy Bible sounds interesting. You sound pretty young. Do you have social media where people can connect with you?
This was an excellent overview and flip through. I love scripted curriculum. I feel it makes it so much easier. Your little ones voice in the background so adorable! 🥰🥰
