Are these replacing the HDR's with these? I haven't found any info either way. Great review! I water down the A pack smoothies with 6-8oz of water. Makes it more drinkable 🥤
@@PaulsGearReview I have bought at least 5 different HDR's in the past 2 years hoping to get something other than lentil stew. I know you only get 1 menu with this ration. Does it taste good enough to warrant buying a whole case worth?
Very cool Amigo! From what reviews I have seen of these, they are the new version of the HDR. Some different menu items and mains at least. Unsure if 24 Hrs. , agreed friend. I still would be glad to get in A difficult situation, however. Beans and potatoes seem light on potatoes, agreed. Taste sounds awesome. Bean salad sounds different. Sunflower butter, non-allergenic, unlike peanuts. Why they use it. Different meal. Glad you enjoyed most, even if not gourmet dining. Peace, John. Stay safe friend.
I think I would have mixed the two bean pouches and had them with the crackers then mixed the apples in with the smoothie and finally churned the peanut butter for a while in the packet before putting it on the energy bar.
I haven't "met" you Paul. This is something I don't have, which is surprising... looks like very much similar to HDR, but with the newer items. Thanks for showing
In a survival situation that may be all that you get in 24 hours, there’s plenty of food TO SURVIVE. What do you expect? Ham eggs, Toast with peanut butter and jelly coffee a bowl of cereal for breakfast? A gourmet hamburger with thick creamy chocolate malt and salad for lunch. Steak and lobster with a Caesar salad for dinner IT’S A “SURVIVAL RATION” G O T I T !

I forgot to tell you most people plan for situations where they need survival rations and don't want shitty tasting ones and can come to my channel see an honest review and make there decision on what they want sorry your use to seeing reviews where every ration always taste good
They could at least add an instant coffee for a caffeine boost. When you're hungry, I really don't think anyone could make it last all day. Nice review.

looks like tbe same as my menu 1, I got thos one from Matt. my smoothie was the sam flavor but branded white pouch as the sunflower butter. I did it all in one sitting
Thanks for the shoutout! These rations were developed and produced in 2023 as basic nutrition for those in need. The lack of meats and dairy help those with allergies to foods.
I’m confused by your confusion of what a water bottle holder has to do with survival. A canteen wouldn’t fit the kit and this gives you a way to carry water with you. Rule of 3s. 🤷♂️
@sidhendragon you don't want things like that hanging off your pack that's a great way to lose a valuable resource it's better to have it secured tightly on or inside your pack
I enjoy watching all rations so thank you for the video it's sad tho that the natural disaster rations are so skimpy and selective vs what some illegals get just by coming into the country new york especially serves them well but look up wat our homeless vets get for giving there lives not a thing our country really needs to get its priorities straight.

@crazytexan7532 yes and I just got an email from creek saying a lot of people are complaining and that they are supposed to be sharp he's going to make a video on how we can sharpen them but you'd need a grinder for this blade it's to thick
Idk how to use that one but the pin ones with pointer on it you look at the shadow buy depending on were you are they can be wrong by a few hours but they kind of work it’s better just to look at wear the sun is and give it a good guess
The Ontario Knife company seems to have been recently sold, and the manufacturing is being moved, so maybe their quality control isn't the best at the moment?

That ninjitsu headbandlight-thing is weird to me, you care to fill it our with countles LEDs but you don't put it on a pivot/swivel attachment? so weird and non-practical.

I have bought many knives, and other items from Bud K over the years. For the price, usually A good product. Lock picks would be nice accessory for the clear padlock. You can see concept however, using bobby pins, pieces of tin cans, etc. They can be manipulated. Glad you have lock picks on backup. Storage bolt works, even if seems absurd, LOL. Some items in these elite boxes, pro boxes, well, are overpriced and overrated. Some, are dang good items. Hopefully all will average out in the long run? To me, personally, I do not care for subscription boxes. Many things I get, I already have. Also, retail prices, well? You got some good items, so no problem Brother. Hope you enjoy most.
