Fantastic steady hand/skilled footage..... I assume you are more amazed by corals than fish! Great healthy reef, I am here now and will check out the spot tomorrow...... It looks like the area is overfished since its mostly tiny reef fish appearing?
Thank you for your kind comments; yes, I am very keen on steady shots. Ref.: overfishing: not sure, but certainly a fair assumption. Also, there was a huge typhoon going through there I think 2 years ago. The reef is still recovering. There are patches of coral that have been saved and pro. divemasters will take you there. Enjoy!
Paul your videos are fantastic. I'm watching the this video at your recommendation from our previous conversation on the Doljo dives. I've watched quite a few videos on Balicasag and I wasn't that impressed. That is until now. You made me reconsider all my plans. I now have to include Balicasag in one of my Bohol dives. This is another great video. thank you again. One more question. My brother is joining me, he does not dive, could he join me on a boat dive and have an opportunity to see some coral and fish remotely close to what your video shows? At the 42:13 minute mark, you are on surface and it looks like I can see the bottom? Or is it just lighting? Thank you again. wonderful videos . I have subscribed
Thanks again. You won't be disappointed in the Balicasag dives... one of the BEST dive sites on Earth... I honestly suggest to dive with boholfundivers.com; I don't have any financial or other interests advising you. I just know them well and they are really professional and high quality. They will help your brother to snorkel and you can dive from the same boat: really fun! BUT snorkeling will NEVER give anybody the true deeper dive experience. Physically not possible... Never forget that...he'll see a lot of corals and fish, I am sure, but not at the deeper levels of course... maybe your brother will like the experience and get certified... just an idea. Have fun! Bohol Island is very nice and friendly.

Yes my brother is now talking about getting certified or at least taking in a few introductory dives. I sure do like your videos. Very professional and you have a great variety of content. Thank you.
That was amazing. Beautiful video. I'm in awe with the Coral. Was this all off of the Doljo Beach or near it? I'm going there in 2 months and with limited time I'm having a hard time deciding where to dive. I haven't seen any video's on The Doljo area. Your's is the first and probably the best I've seen on Bohol Diving. Thank You
Thank you for your kind words! Delighted... yes, I shot this video based on 2 dives there, but Bohol is a great place for diving. Suggest Balicasag Island in this area: amazing marine life too. Ah yes, a very fine coverage of Guildford, a wonderful environment. My direct family came from that area & although I was born in Reading & resided there for 28 years, on marriage, my wife & I started our life just seven miles from the town. It is always a pleasure to visit Guildford, I have travelled fairly widely & I still consider it to be one of the very best.
