The “honeymoon curve” just outside of Jacksonville FL was interesting. One question: Is it possible for people to book a trip without taking their car, motorcycle etc?
that was the best times when the family was together and we were on the auto train. what fun times we had on that train, great crew ,clean train , loved the food ,when you booked the state room with bathroom and pull down bunks it was worth the extra money , very quite and private with locking door. if only amtrak could have the train start in N.Y. or N.J. it would be fantastic. thank you for the great video and the wonderful memories .

Yes, they use Superliners sleepers, but no, they aren't all bedrooms only. The Auto Train has two Deluxe Sleepers with all bedrooms on the upper level. It also has several regular Sleepers with both Roomettes and Bedrooms on the upper level. We've been in both types, but most trips we're in the Deluxe as we book early and the Deluxe usually are filled first.
Too bad through most of the video your camera was focused on the dirt on the windows, instead of the scenery just beyond. Oh well, that’s Amtrak for ya! 😉
