Fate of the Step-monster Alice: Thanks to Joe's parents, everyone in town found out what this vile monster of a stepmother did to MC and her brother. Even though she wasn't taken to police instead she was isolated from the entire town. Kids threw eggs at her called her names like witch or devil's mistress. The house she stole from MC's father burned in ashes by arson, nobody shown sympathy to her at all after what she did to her step-children. She wasn't even allowed to stay at the homeless shelter and was even kicked out of town's church by a strict priest telling at her face "we're not letting you enter this holy place after what sinful acts you did to those innocent children, the lord is showing you the mercy you shown to those brother sister". Alice was left penniless on the street, where people kept spitting at her face. She saw MC crossing by with her baby and her husband, she tried to kill MC for all the misery she's suffering but MC beaten the crap out of her in self-defence told her "you said to me and my brother to go to hell with my mother, Now Satan himself is dragging you to hell". Alice was then taken to police and sentence life in prison, where she was constantly beaten and strangled in the end by female convicts
As always, once a single dad remarries, his new wife would have him wrapped around her finger 😒. Sometimes, what single parents want can blind them. Who thinks that the narrator should not have allowed her dad back in her life because, all those years, he always chose his new wife over her and her brother. Unfortunately this will not end the daughter's resentment towards her Mother. She will probably feel that her life has been restricted by her health condition. The daughter will need to take care of her health, for the rest of her life.

If I wrote this story, I would have made Laura take custody of her nephew & sue Cynthia for the abuse she inflicted on her for all those years & Cynthia's husband would also pay, by being sued by his sister-in-law Laura for his refusal to take care for his son. Concerning the jerk husband, he meets & marries another woman 3 years after divorcing Laura & she happens to be a Gold-digger, she cleans him out of most of his wealth & dumps him, after that his ex sister-in-law sues him for child support on behalf of her nephew. "Your ex-wife was never fit to raise a child & YOU NEVER WERE FIT TO BE A HUSBAND LET ALONE A FATHER!" She screams in Court, she wins the case & both her sister & the jerk brother-in-law are given the proper punishments.
Ok, the mother got permanently disgraced & the surviving daughter went permanent NC with her, but what about that jerk husband/father? If I had any say i'd say after the divorce, he met a new wife & had kids with her, only to discover he is NOT THE FATHER! New wife cheated on him with another man & she ran off with the bio-dad leaving him with the brats. He dumps affair babies at an orphanage & he meets wife No. 3 (a rich widow with 2 children the same age as the twins) 2 years later. Unfortunately, she happens to be a relative of a former neighbour & knows all about him, his 1st ex-wife & what happened to the twins. She makes his life hell & REFUSES POINT BLANK TO START A FAMILY WITH SUCH A JERK! She won't let him leave the house & forces him to work from home, both for employment & housework.
Peter is a narcissist. He pretended to be a decent guy but couldn't keep faking it for very long, with both women. Narcissists DO NOT CARE who they destroy.
Me to Margaret's mom after she made her daughter cry at the grocery store: "You know, Ma'am, I've seen people like you all my life: a fine, upstanding classist. Their nose is either so high up in the air or down close to the grindstone, they can't see anything else. Meanwhile, the world changes and grows and they're blind to it, ignorant, and pretty darn proud of it, too. But, you know what the sad part of this is? You have this amazing daughter and she sees the beauty in everything and everyone, and money never changed her outlook on life, but you're stuck in your own ways that you believe that money is everything, but in actuality, it's not. And that man who you have no shame in calling him a dirtbag is a wonderful person who is willing to help her raise her daughter, along with his mother, and she is more of a mom than you were ever were to own your child. Because to them, money isn't everything. Love is. They way I see it, Margaret ran away from you a long time ago. And honestly, who can blame her?

I agree with the story because once an abuser, always an abuser. A leopard can't change its spots. Once you've discovered that your former lover is a tyrant, make sure other women don't fall into the same trap as you did.
My Father was abused he abused my mother and me and my sister she never common sense to leave him 💔 it wasn't fair that me and my sister 💔 had suffered with it .
@stephenesejohnson5847 that's the problem with toxic relationships. When a father is abusive, the wife only tolerates it for the sake of her children. This is why sometimes, it's not always easy to leave a toxic relationship 😢
Well Peter got his karma now For abusing his ex wife Emma & Kicking her their son out & abusing his now former fiance. Now he is in Jail for the rest of his adult life. Time 9:09AM Thurs 9/5/24
