I had my hair transplant from one of Dr. Lindsay's colleagues with the IAHRS. I'm very glad that I had FUT - I had a great result and the scar is almost undetectable. Couldn't be happier, and I still have a ton of donor hair left for the future. I did meet an individual who chose to fly to Turkey for an FUE procedure that was "much more advanced" than what I had. I wish him well!
I'm a British guy living in Bangkok for the last 5 years. I had a hair transplant in Bangkok at age 66 at Max Hair Clinic. I had 3500 grafts , cost me around 120k Thai baht ( around £2700 sterling ) plus I also paid 20 k Thai baht for PRP 6 session treatment. I'm very happy with the result. I'm in good shape and healthy, still get to the gym 6 days a week.
Sorry, but to me that doesn’t look like the great result you’re saying it is. Biggest problem I see is the „gap“ between his transplant in the middle of the head and his existing hair on the sides
As expected...I can't add a pic or 2 from my desktop...but the video about 8 from the most recent...has several as to some of the other...why didn't this fue work...videos Thanks
To some extent you are indeed correct. There are several things to consider...first being...if you want a shave...why get a hair transplant anyway. Second...who's sewing you up...almost all of these 500 videos show a close up of my strip scar...nobody else posts that...and I average about 1.1mm on 190 people a year... 6 or 7 of my patients will get 3 or 4mm scars..not because I just did a sloppy job..but because people heal differently. I'd guess that the haircut I have in most of these videos will cover 96% of my scar results. A couple of guys a year..we simply come back and fue into the scar to camouflage it....again...almost nobody posts that kind of stuff except me. Lastly...I'll try, but I'm not certain I can...to put up 3 or 4 FUE donor areas in guys completely devastated by crappy fue procedures. I have 30 or 40 pics like this and several are featured in the video entitled inconvenient truths of fue.... If I can't figure out how to put a pic up here...which I may not be able to do..and if you're interested...just look at the donor devastation in that video, as well as a few other of my videos where we see the horrors of hair surgery gone bad. Your comment is a reasonable one, and something people need to weight with their doctor before signing up for any case.
Heyaa, the video was impressive🙌! I'm not really sure if it is the best time to ask but, I was wondering if I could help you create a better distribution by working on post-production like better storytelling through Edits, Keywords, think catchy intros and outros, or even some engaging short clips! Would love to chat if you're interested and keep creating good content:)
How in the world 2500 grafts cover such big areas while most of hairtransplant procedures I see with range of 3k-4k cover the same area but with way less density of hair? This is overwhelming
That is an excellent catch....why are there so many guys who claim to have gotten 4k grafts who look like an underfed chia-pet??? Well...its a bunch of things STARTING with most hair doctors..yes most...do crappy work, only wanting to make their wallet bigger...not the amount of hair on the head really as good as possible. They do this buy offering rent a techs, doing 3 cases a day and rushing through them, and planting grafts without roots...probably the most common issue, particularly with FUE. The doctor, typically and ENT or Plastic Surgeon, buys a machine to do fue's, hires people to do the case, and the doctor has no idea that the techs just want to get done and get to the next job..they'll plant anything that the machine harvest..frequently without a root. The doctor doesn't know..he wasn't there except to take the money. The patient doesn't know..he assumes doctors would never do that. Well we see this once a week at a minimum, from all over the world. Virginia, DC, NYC, London, Turkey, Dubai....everywhere there are hair doctors..most are not doing great work. But some are so do your research and look at the doctors pics and videos before you sign up.
@@charlielindsey1964 I appreciate the transparency in your speech and work, this comment tells a lot about hair transplantation industry and how things work in it, again, I really appreciate your effort and the informative advice you give. Hope I can visit you asap.
Out of my 517 videos...what..maybe 10 show guy's faces. MOST of my hair patients and indeed almost all of my face patients do not want their faces shown. I completely understand that showing the face lets you see how the results change the total appearance...its just most of our patients don't want to show...even when offered some type of compensation. In the office we do have plenty of full face pics. Thanks
Yes I have a couple of videos on that. I'd guess we do that 4 times a year on folks from other doctors and 3 times a year on our own patients. MOST guys...end up wanting that done with about 300 grafts into the scar...then about 15 months later, another 200.... SIMPLY a small case of hair greed in that scar. And planting in scar tissue is not like planting in normal scalp. MOST but not all grow. I have a bunch of videos on that too. Thanks
Hi i visit your channel. Your veido quality is very good but you haven’t SEO your video . If you SEO all your video then your video will reach more people views and subscriber will increase….
A very enjoyable video. Hair loss is devistating because for many of us it is a loss of identity. We don't expect to look young forever, it's not vanity in my opinion, its that we dont recognise the version of ourself in the mirror without hair.
Ya know what I think hair transplants often look their very best on folk with grey hair. Perhaps less contrast with the skin and natrual thinning that most people experience with age meaning that a good transplant in a dude say over 50 looks incredibly natural.
I like this doc and the others he is affiliated with. But one thing i would caution is suppositions blaming the other docs. When in reality theres always a high chance these patients were smoking and drinking. And stressed out. Poor diet. Etc. Among other factors like lifestyle, martial artists, brazillian jujitsu types, wife was rough in bed etc.
You are absolutely correct sir. I try to avoid blaming other doctors but I do call out when rent a techs are used, when clearly a bad plan was formulated..etc. If you watch all of my videos..you'll see a couple of MY patients who did crazy stuff that altered the results. I can think of a couple of doozies of the top of my head. And frankly we have to this day 3-5 guys a year who do stupid stuff in the first week that clearly changes their results..... I document it in the chart so that if we ever do a repair...I'll remember what happened....but nothing keeps one of those folks from blaming it on me. Nothing...and privacy rules would limit me...or any doctor..from refuting a story. One of my favorite patients knocked 3 guys out fighting while the stitches were in.... not supposed to do that...but he turned out fine anyway and is in a video..."the meanest patient" is in the title I think....another did alter his results supposedly by having marital relations in the car on the way home.... And don't get me started on smoking...that DEFINITELY causes grafts to die in that first week. Thanks for your comment.
@@charlielindsey1964 Hilarious, I need to check that one out too. Enjoying your videos. And needless to say you do great work. Appreciating the case study transparency. Looks like you did a great job fixing this guy. Cheers from LA.
I had 1900 grafts a couple of years ago and I had really no follow up or good instructions due to the practitioner flying in from another location. I oozed a lot and had a lot of dried blood, but I was scared to mess with it. I feel like now maybe 400-500 grafts took. I wish I had done more to prevent the scabs from adhering to grafts
Man if I had 1 dollar for every time I'd heard that...well I couldn't retire BUT I could buy a nice les paul. Even with our uptight postop regimen...probably 25 guys a year decide its too much trouble to come see us daily and don't clean very well and a handful don't clean at all and alter their result. When I see those folks I just can't figure it out!
I'd add - I still think that FUT is ultimately the 'gold standard' and I reckon that when very wealthy people in the know e.g. Hollywood celebrities get transplants, they get FUT.
I wouldn't even consider FUE - if I get a tranplant I'm going 'all in' with a strip to get as many follicular units as I can, with one scar. It's such a shame that FUE seems to have become the default method these days.
Nice work. The Earth is Flat and Globalism is Done. Hyperborea may exist at Magnetic North directly under Polaris. If we stay here we die. We have nothing to lose.
This is a perfect example of the power of a hair transplant. Stops someone from looking old before their time. I'm sure you did change this young man's life - great work.
Excellent hairline - a mature hairline-for-life that will look good at any age. That curvature at the edges of the hairling where it meets the lateral hump is perfect. Great job.
