Can you add the new characters and the decorations and just play the regular game of Tang Garden (sans expansions)? I am considering getting this when it becomes available in canada (any week now)......is it worth it? Thanks. I just dont want to buy every expansion that comes with this game. I have golden age, and it was fun
Wait, are your minis unpainted? Was there an option to out-out of the wash? I thought with all-in you got them washed and OH MY my wash is terrible. There's none in the recesses and all it does is stain the surface... Also, am I stupid or the player resource trays have no slots for Leaders and to have them organized you need to actually use both trays which is a massive waste of space as you cover the faction spot on the player board with resource tray, so now you have 3 areas instead of 2 as you need to put the faction SOMEWHERE...
My minis have a wash on them. If you use the player trays during the g game, they do take up more space, yes. And there's also no room on the one tray for the leaders.
@@GamesNBrews Well, then I am happy for you to have a wash that looks like a wash and not dirty drain water... but thanks for confirming I'm not just going stupid with the trays, a bit of an odd design to not have a resource slot on the tray. Oh well. I love most things about the kickstarter version, but the player trays and was are really a miss for me there. Simple storage plus a double layered station board would be so much better, at least in my oppinion.
@@AbsolutelyNormalSubclinical Yeah, washes are always hit or miss due to the mass-production style they use to do it. In the five player game that I have played in, three players did not use the player trays and just opted for the player board.
Thanks for this video! My Ghost Stories tray can't fit the 2 large landscapes on top of the Spirit boards without having lift on the tray, does yours fit nice and snug? Also the yellow square Character Tokens at the top-right base game tray only fits 3 of the 4 in the area for them, so I have the 4th in a card tray area, I saw in the video yours seem to fit fine? Thanks!
@@GamesNBrews ok thanks! Then they're 100 microns, I found the information in the game found page. I think Sleeve King's 60micron sleeves should fit very well for those that did not get the all in
I'm not convinced about this game. Worms were great because of the chaos on the screen, not sure this board game can replicate it. Please let us know if you get to play it.
@@GamesNBrews Reminds me of Centipede by IDW. An attempt to turn old Atari video games into board games. It was a good attempt, but it's meh. Missile Command tho, is a great multi-player game!

Thanks for taking the time to make a video. Just got my copy and I’m here for extra reassurance😂. I’ve never played before, so the guide is nice but, this all feels really overwhelming since I’m not familiar with the components. Thanks for actually putting a name to things as you went through all the components. Really excited to get this to the table. If it plays as good as it looks then it will all have been worth the wait.
I believe there were new Tech tiles but they relate directly to the new species. I don't think they'll ever add additionally ways to gain VPs at this point.
Thanks for the video! I am in the midst of getting everything together and have already gotten ahead of myself, like squeezing the dice in with their respective expansions. I am working backwards, though, so if I'd have gone in the same order as the instructions I'd have been further ahead! I am happy to see that they made space for KS exclusives and stuff like that!
They did a complete crap job with not telling us, providing a diagram or anything, on how to put everything into the big box. As gorgeous as this game is…this is going to be a PITA to figure out.
Extra mini box is a replacement for the previous ones that came out. The stickers are for the small icon of the previous panorama's. The new panorama's have bigger icons on them.
The first printing of the minis were much worse due to plastic annealing than later printings so they sold replacements to us. The stickers I think are for the panoramas to make the symbols larger and more readable. Don't quote me on that, I'm doing this from memory also.
Trayception 😀That's one huge box, storage is going to be a challenge on its own. I hope you'll upload a playthrough at some point, the game seems interesting.
