Hello, I'm Angela and EZ Eatery is all about making super easy meals in a jiffy. I love using my air fryers, crock pot, and just about anything to make my life a whole lot easier in the kitchen. I love to cook and really enjoy eating =) I like minimal effort and WOWing friends and family with my simple creations.
This seems very doable, with some preplanning. I love this because it can be customized to what I really like, and leave out what I don’t! Thank you, I’ll try it!
I used a plastic knife to begin to remove it . Slowly run it around the sides of the pie maker and then put what you want under the pie to lift it out. You know like you would do to a regular pie in a pie pan.
Please dont take this as disrespectful at all. You pulled this off perfectly 👌 your nit from NYC where i grew up in Brooklyn Bensonhurst closest to Italy 🇮🇹 you will get. We have access to real douch Salami etc. You would love my Stromboli you really pulled this off. Any AUTHENTIC RECIPES i can share amd even mail you the dough etc from nyc you dont even gave to ask.
@ezeatery no need to thank me my pleasure you worked on sharing your version of this. I get it other states does not have the certain ingredients for authentic Italian Recipes like NYC or Jersey. I'm always shipping stuff out to people who moved from NYC to Florida, Vegas Etc. Any other authentic recipes you would like let me know i will share. Certain ones I can't lol but I can still get you there. And yes when it comes to pizza, sauce etc it is all about the NYC Water.
@ezeatery it takes a lot of work but if I gave you my recipe on how to make fresh mozzarella you would go insane. Sorry lol if only you heard my strong new york italian accent. Fresh Mozz is mint 👌
@@ezeateryAlso got homemade macaroni recipes for you to list goes on and I'm not only a Italian Cook. Homemade Macaroni yes I can't say pasta lol. It's a New Yawk thing lol Time Consuming but HUGE difference from Barilla which is great if you have not mother options compared to homemade or imported macaroni HUGE difference.
@ezeatery Promised Kept let if you got my complete NYC my Recipes for dough and different Stromboli Recipes. A lot you woukd love. Just not pepp and mozz, Fresh Meatball Mozz and if you need the authentic stuff I can always ship it to you no longer in NYC but still have the authentic stuff shipped. NYC Water especially a lot to do with the taste of sauce and pizza out of state believe me.
If you were taught to cook by the greatest generation you would already know that it is customary and essential that you boil ribs before grilling . It makes your ribs easier to digest . It works for dark chicken also .You can also steam them first until 50 % done Thanks Grandma ❤

A TIP: You need to use a Butter Brush to coat the insides, the ribbed areas of the edges and the top areas. That makes the Pies 🥧 come out much easier. Using Coconut Oil for Pineapple 🍍 Pies is a Real WINNING FAVORITE 😋 👌.
@@ezeatery Uh no........I bought one and used a fork, and it works everytime. I didn't stand around and ask myself gee I wonder how to get what was cooked out. Didn't even scratch my head.
What if you try putting a little egg wash the top of the pie top? Also you could use a piece of parchment paper in a strip with the edges out under the bottom crust to help take the pie out .
Honestly, I haven’t used it since I recorded this video because it was impossible to get out and really hot, but that is a genius suggestion!!! Maybe I’ll try it again and I really do like the idea of the egg wash. I’m sure it would brown much better. Thank you!!!
I air fry the potato for about 45 minutes total and the steak for 8-12 minutes total. So I add the steak in when the timer goes down to 10, then add it in. Hope that helps!
@@ezeatery thank you I just got my air fryer and I wanted to make my boyfriend steak and potatoes and some other things and I was like how am I gonna get all this cooked at once and serve it like a restaurant because I’m not used to cooking and I thought maybe I could put two items in there at the same time😁😁

Are you mentally ill? You did not need to put this in an air fryer. It was cooked already on the stove top. You just melted cheese in an air fryer. Absolutely insane. Just using an air fryer for the sake of it. Mad.

I have an air-fryer/toaster oven device & I bought one of these & it even works well in my air fryer, which is significantly different than these stand-alone air fryers.

Definitely need to roll out the pastry dough thinner before cutting the circles. The regular thickness dough not only takes longer to cook, but it insulates the filling. Filling needs to be room temperature, too; let the eggs and other ingredients warm up a little. Someone elsewhere suggested cutting a ring of foil to cover the edge of the crust. Covering pie edging with foil is a long time technique of keeping the edging from burning when baked in an oven. Also, turn the pie 180-degrees after 3 minutes cooking. The pie maker is hotter at the front than at the hinge, so this would even out the cooking, making a more consistent crust. The wetter the filling, the more essential it is to use a thinly rolled dough, fill the bottom crust with beans or pie weights, and precook the bottom crust for 3 to 5 minutes before adding the filling. Still need to protect the edge when precooking, to keep the edge dough as raw as possible if you plan to add a top crust; you'll want to be able to press a seal between the top and bottom crusts. I know this sounds like a lot of work for something that's supposed to be easy-peasy, but pastry-enclosed foods are demanding, whatever size you make. And it's worth it, in my opinion. It's still easier and quicker to make these mini pies in this appliance than it is to set up an oven and make a pie of ANY size from scratch. If you have an air fryer, consider getting 3-4 inch aluminum pie pans and make mini pies that fit inside the air fryer. But for people like me, who never bought an air fryer and don't want one, I'll work out how to make the Dash work for me.

@@ezeaterydid you try with these amazing instructions? there’s a guy that shared an easy crust recipe that he found to cook more evenly but this sounds easier still. it you might want to look him up. i think his name is ken click or something like that. just search for pie crust for the dash pie maker
