Hello AhmedRaza. Absolutely. Texas, especially the north part of Texas is home to many that have come here from other countries. I have many find homes as well. Now the style of homes will be different from other areas but anyone can adjust. It would be the same if someone were leaving the states to relocate to another country. This is pretty the same whether you buy a new construction home or an existing g home that someone is selling. Now the documents to purchase the home will vary depending if it’s new construction or existing. This process: 1. Choose a home 2. Sign contract to purchase 3. Inspections 4. Build time if buying new 5. Financing approval (if you are purchasing through a bank then you have to provide lender approval paperwork) 6. If you're thinking of buying a DR Horton home just walk away....far away. If you don't want to do that at least hire an independent inspector, definitely not one recommended by the builder or realtor, who is known for their thoroughness. Don't sign anything until DR Horton fixes everything. There isn't any excuse considering how much they charge for their homes and building quality homes isn't rocket science.
You are correct. We ALWAYS recommend a THIRD part inspection on all new construction no matter who the builder is with a punch list. Thanks for watching.
All home builders have problem houses, and youre experience may be why. And thats fine! But just because you had a bad experience doesnt mean every house they build is terrible. Thats like saying all Coke products are bad because one exploded with fizz a couple of times. Just do like you said and get a third party inspection before you actually close on any new home regardless of builder. In fact most realtors will tell you to get a third party inspection, and if they find anything for fixes to have them come back after those are completed in order to verify.

Ideally, we want Celina but we're about 1yr late to the punch and are not willing to concede on certain features just to be in the city limits. Melissa was going to be our 2nd choice, but again there were too many concessions on home features vs price for it to make sense so we figured Anna would provide the perfect blend of the ideal home vs. price. We only plan to live in the home for the next 8-10 years when our daughter graduates HS and goes to college. It's a home appreciation play so the money we make on the sale pays for college. Anna is a bit north of where we intended to be, we have family in Celina but the outer loop I'm reading about should easily link both our communities, shortening the drive considerably. But to answer your question, the cities we have on our radar are Celina, Melissa, Anna, Aubrey. Outer limits of our search include Van Alstyne, Pilot Point

Fredericksburg model as well. Both offer an incredible value for the price. High 400s low 500s is a steal in Anna for a 2800-3300 Sq Ft home w/ a 3 car garage. We're heading to DFW this weekend up from Houston to lay eyes on these homes. Your audience could stand to benefit from seeing this product. God bless.

@@MovingtoDallasJenkinsRealty We have a realtor we will be visiting the property with. Thank heaven both models are available at The Preserve at Pecan Creek in Denton, TX. Neither are model homes but according to Carrie they are available to walk in and take a look at. We will be going there on Saturday but my wife would get a huge kick out of watching your footage beforehand. Between the Fredericksburg and Georgetown model homes extremely hard to beat pound for pound in Anna, TX.
DR Horton Homes like any home builder has issues with their new homes. The #1 advice I can give to any home buyer of a newly build time is do not sign any paperwork until the builder has finished all the issues you have found during your walk though. They may say we will get that down in a week or so. Do not sign until it is finished. They do put buyers who have already signed paperwork to the back of the line when it comes to repairs. Please do your own due diligence on this builder.
