***Spoiler*** . . . I've been a Pac NW Pro Wrestling fan for over 30 years. Lived through the dark times when wrestling was almost non-existent around here. To see the wrestling scene come back to life they way it has heartens me every day. To have something special like the Cascadia Wrestling Cup Tournament come to life last year made that heart glow. To see Prestige Wrestling and its owner/promoter take a steaming shit all over The Cascadia Wrestling Cup Tournament in 2024...broke my heart. Travis Williams is a FREAKING AMAZING wrestler!! People compare him to Bryan Danielson and rightfully so. To end this magnificent tournament with three ref bumps, three run-ins and f**k finish that makes zero sense and everyone hated is a slap in the face of Pac NW wrestling fans and the community they create. Bad booking decisions happen. This goes beyond that. This buries the Cascadia Wrestling Cup. This hurts Travis Williams because it makes it appear that he can't win on his wrestling skill alone, which he can and did three times in a row in clean victories to reach the finals. This burns the fans and breaks their trust. Prestige Wrestling put over a year-long redemption arch for Jaiden, set the stage for a huge emotional pay off with him finally winning the cup after the heartbreaking defeat last year...and then Prestige Wrestling fumbles at the 1 yard line and pissed off all their fans. This booking decision absolutely buries the Cascadia Cup; It's supposed to be this joyous celebration of Pac NW wrestling, this prestigious honor...and in only its 2nd year it is sullied and stained by its own creator with this ridiculous f**k finish that smacks of the worst days of WCW. This tournament had incredible matches throughout including a 41 minute CLASSIC in the finals...only to have it ruined by monumentally stupid booking.
