Awesome video, I suggest an easier way to undo the driveshaft from the transfer case. This does make it easier. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ttaLMzeDEU0.htmlsi=kOQuxRELTUNSUwuG
Well, the hand was a crazy story in a nutshell. What occurred was I was taking part a wheel bearing on a truck and the case exploded and a piece of metal went into my hand and I actually had to have full on surgery to get it out!!!! fortunately it went well and I was able to continue on
Its called "shell banks", the place with all the shells. We did this in vehicles like that on the mainland coast of Mexico back in the 80s, looking for surf spots in Michoacan and Colima. The spot your camping is Mitchel's cut. Cool trip, my home beach.
Hahah yeah some time is usually pretty low production, but high in the building of content!! We have no shortage of content to edit just takes time! Lots and lots of time
A Shorty would look great on a Copart Jeep Gladiator but I don't know... Don't know anything about Jeeps, I remember having to jump on the hood of my Sons rig because it almost rolled over & hearing him complain about repairs on them... & then there's the engine power... Wish someone wrote a book on the topic
Oh, I’m sure the information is out there. Jeeps are funny. They are a ton of fun and they’re super unique. They do have their reliability issues, but to be honest the newer Toyotas have been suffering a good bit. Jesse‘s Tacoma is always under the knife. they’re a lot more comfortable, but they sure ain’t as capable.
Thanks man would work isn’t exactly my specialty. I’m more like metal but I must say it sure a heck of a lot easier to put together. Everything can fit to the quarter inch and it just works. Hahah😂
I think you lost too much sheer strength in the wall. The frame around the window wall should be built with fiberglass over wood for max strength. 2 cents given.
I appreciate your two cents. A lot of people wouldn’t even consider that you are absolutely correct. What I did when I was building. It was reinforce it on the inside. Something fierce because you lose a lot of strength with a window that big.
Good job fellow overlander... I like the part when you said.."I made it, because I couldn't afford it" that's the gold. All these rich hipsters out throwing everything in the cart and showboating around town with brand new untarnished gear. Us tinkering troops are keeping fresh and practical.
Thank you!! Hahaha that’s the truth! Also there’s so much stuff out there that’s “for looks” and the quality is just trash!! Looks cool in the parking lot but the minute your out actually using it, it fails!
QUESTION: have you experienced any issues with the camper box flexing against the Lexus body? I am looking into doing something similar with an old 40 series Land Cruiser pickup, but building the camper box. Trying to determine whether to attach the camper to the cab, or keep it separate---due to the flexing issue.
@@henryitsdeza5553I'm replying really late to this, but we were in a Grey Kia soul, and it was one of you with the shirt more fat less fit, something like that.
I totally agree!!! I hate not taking the jeeps! Just our last few trips have been north in brown bear country and we just feel safer inside the trucks. But this summer we have trips planned for the jeeps!
It's a shame they've sold you this expensive marine grade plywood all bent up... I hate it when I'm going to buy wood, they want to charge a premium and then its all bent up and twisted...
