Hey bro great video.... I know this has been years since you posted this but I have a 2003 just like that at 4 minutes and 30 seconds in your video you pull off a rubber sleeve that has a spring in it... do you know what that part is called??
hey man do you know @4:37 the two clips you pull off. One is a flat piece of metal and the other is a bolt with a bronze piece jutted out. Do you know what that part is called?
Great video 👍 thanks for taking the time to do it very well done. Just wanted to mention I noticed you disconnected the carbs at the carb end of the boots not the engine. Way easier than trying to disconnect at the engine
Airbox definitely needs to come off, but I came to this video to see about the carb as well. I feel like you could leave it so long as you remove everything else and put something into the slide holes to keep anything from accidently falling in.
what are you connecting the connectors back onto? themselves? im so confused with that part. your suppose to disconnect 2 connections and replace them with the pcv connections but what do you do with the ecu harness connectors after that??? if it makes sense
Brother need your help !!! I replaced my start /stop switch also my spring popped off also !! I put it back on but cables are way to loose!!! Is there a specific way the spring goes back on please need your help !!!!
HELP. I have a 2001 VT1100 Shadow Spirit. The problem I have is reloading the tension spring behind the throttle cable assembly. Did you try to spin the spring three times or more then get it back in position.
Hello Pedro thank you for sharing! This is a very informative video! I have a question: your air box looks different than the one in my bike. Is it the OEM one? Thanks!
This video is on point, just bought one honda 750 and 2 days later it started leaking from one of the floats gaskets, now its time to fix that and try and clean it since it should have gasolime slime for lack of use
This is a very good video! Everything done and explained step by step clearly and at a perfect speed. Captivating! I enjoyed watching and learning I sat through the whole video. I've ever worked on motorcycles but this video makes it look easy and that is encouraging! Thank you for Señor Pedro for doing this. The LORD Bless You.
Hi Pedro! May i ask why did you removed the bracket and installed the plates? My r6 has a power commander and deleted the cat box as well. Can i do the same to mine since i am about to take the bracket out to get to the coils and spark plugs.
I did it to help from a lot of back fire/ popping from the exhaust when letting off the throttle. Since I had a straight pipe exhaust system at the time. Hope this helps!
@@walman89 Oh, i see, you put on an aftermarket intake. Big question for you then, when you changed it out, what did you do with the crank case breather tube that went to the air chamber? i hear it isn't needed, but wouldn't it just be a open hole if it goes nowhere?
@@georgeperez3695 Funny you ask. I did a lot of research about that same topic. I ended up using a hose about 2ft long connected from the crank case to the side of the motor with a small filter, it also helps not let any critters in. It’s literally a breather hose for the crankcase, so I don’t think it’s a good idea to block it. You could also use a hose going to the bottom of the motor to let air into the crank case, it will spew out any unwanted oil if I’m right.
Dude so I got to the coil pack unplugged them but how do you remove the little gel part!? I was afraid to just force them off or popping them off so I didn’t get to check my spark plugs for fear of damaging something.
