Great Video and nice work on making it to the lake. My Brother and I have been meeting in different locations exploring the trails in different areas of BC and Alberta. Originally we would spend a few days in an area and then plan our next trip to go somewhere else. We are now on year four of Tumbler. we cant find the end of amazing trails in the region. Every time we go into a section IE core lodge, Bull Moose and the trails out the Ojay road (onion Lake, red deer falls) we get so amazed by the trails that we need to explore further. Unfortunately my bro was one of the guys that required an air lift a year ago out of the onion trail when he broke the rear prop shaft on his Renny 20kms into Onion Lake. Onion is one of the most challenging trails I have ever rode and it is killing me that I still haven't finished that one. we will be going back one of these days with a bigger crew to support the break downs that WILL happen on this beautiful beast of a trail.
Thanks for watching! My friends and I are now curious about the rest of the area as well. I hope you get to make it to the lake. It’s a breathtaking area. If you ever get the chance, you should make your way to Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. We would love to hook up and go for a ride.
I had hoped to skid right over it but the side hill to the right was pretty scary and I had to hit it at an angle the prevented me from getting the speed I wanted
I’m from the area all these trails around here were all made when 3 wheelers were big. Kinda hard to believe people would bring a trike up there haha. It’s a crazy trail and there has been a lot of people flown out over the year. Awesome video man, you just scratch the surface of what there is to explore out there
If you haven’t closed the cab in yet, you will find it is much louder than open like yours is. Everyone that I know that has enclosed cab says they are ridiculous loud inside.
Yes sir, a poly windshield. We might have found an issue with the heater install as well. Polaris is reviewing and going to get back to us. They may have left a step out of the instructions.
I burned a belt on my 2021 and it tore up both inner and outer covers, so I'll be replacing both. I really liked your video; it helped me out considerably.
Just FYI, the wheel beaeings are NOT sealed……what you are calling a seal is in fact a “shield”…..these are what is known as “shielded” bearings. /and they do need to be greased periodically. I just pulled my originals at 20,500 miles! Yes, you read that number right.
I realize the the seals aren’t attached around the inside diameter of the bearing and the steal piece is a shield. With my type of riding, the bearings need to be greased, there’s no question. 20,500 miles!? You need to teach the rest of us a thing or two.
Actually it’s a random cut-line in central Alberta. I’m going to do some homework and find out what for. I’ve already got friends that want to go for a ride and explore it.

3700 miles on original 2015 xp1000 wheel bearings. Keep em greased and they'll last. I filled till greased oozed out.... any excess oozes out when operating and has been fine. ..It's not like they're airtight It's when they go dry the issues begin...
3700 miles!? holy. I think this winter I'm gonna put the oem back in. The All Balls feel loose when I shake the wheels. They have right from the beginning.
I have learned to set your clicker on that shock to soft and either jack that side up on radius rod or drive up on a piece of wood with that rear driver side tire clutch cover will come right out of there I also have a high lifter. Check out my RU-vid channel. Hope this helps.
HI Crunchtime, awesome video. I had a question, I will be in Nordegg, May long weekend. Is this the rail trail? Or something different? Really want to try it out.
So you do know you can over grease these bearings and you did. There’s actual specs on this never fill your bearings more then 2/3 with grease. This actually will cause your bearings to overheat and wear prematurely. I just went through a bearing and lubrication class for industrial plants and equipment. Not saying I never do this but just passing on information I just learned.
When you had your front shaft out did you notice if it was "OUT of phase"? Been reading on RZRforum they've been out of phase since 2014ish.......my new 2022 trails n Rocks is out of phase! Crazy polaris does this!!!
An app called wikiloc is a good resource for trails near you where ever you are. the free version is very helpful and the paid version is about 10 dollars per year. I'm on there as crunchtime atv as well. You can follow trails other people have recorded.
