I recommend you get a foam life vest. They never fail. You whacked them again. They've been whacking me lately. Had them going on a spoon early and a 5XD later last week and my last trip, it was flipping shade in 2' for babies. When will they learn. Stupid fish. Doesn't help the wind blew from the east at 40 mph.

You have to check each body of water and tournament rules. Lake Champlain is limited to only 2 hooks and NY is a 5 hook state but tournament trails have more restrictions like 3 hooks, etc.
Good job! Now chunk all that sissy spinning stuff and fish with manly rods. And work on your hook set. It's been brutal in my neck of the prairie. But they are pretty shallow.
@@200inch_deerkind of a silly thing to accuse someone of, especially when neither one of us will ever get to measure the racks. And I definitely know what it takes to make a 170-inch buck. Just find it odd that instead of something positive; you decide to try and belittle someone’s knowledge and you don’t even know me. That’s all. I really enjoy my time chasing whitetails and I enjoy trying to age/score a buck whether I see it in person, harvest the animal, or see a trail pic. Do I nail the total inches every time? Nope. Do I guess based on gross score or net…I always guess on gross bc I think a buck deserves every inch of antler they grow. I’m not mad, just saying I think it’s a silly argument to have considering the circumstances.
I fish this lake for my highschool tournaments. Going into my senior year, I’ve gotta make a big this fall to get college eyes on me and make this bass fishing gig a real goal. Any tips at all? Anything helps, beautiful fish. Thanks guys
The fish move around a lot there with respect to the prespawn, spawn, and post spawn seasons. Get as much time on the water as possible and fish everything in front of you until the puzzle starts to come together. I know that’s vague but true.
I ain't afraid of nothing, but lightning makes me tinkle in my panties and cry. To me, that escapee fish should be a no-brainer. If no one else claims it, it's obviously your fish. I've seen that happen, you just find a net and recapture it. But I don't fish pro tournaments so I guess they have to figure out a way to screw the negligent pro if possible. 😉

I put a 4 lb hookset on an 8" fish the other day and he flew across the boat like superbass. I've been catching them on a little tube with a 3/8th oz weight dragging it through brush piles. Nothing else was working. You needed to throw a 5XD. 👍
@@KyleCortianaFishing No, my unsophisticated local fish gobble up the Strike King 2.75" so that's what I feed them. I don't throw tubes enough to get fancy. Although I did catch a 9.5 last year on a 3.5" tube flipped.
