This is great for sharing with my sister down in Otago, NZ, not only because I live in Nelson but because your videos are always the best! Thank you, Cheryl ❤
Hi Karen. It is just a suggestion. I always recommend using techniques that work best for them. Thanks for sharing. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍
Thank you ! You explain everything so nicely, I can follow what you are doing, stop the video and sew what you just did. Then I continue until both of us are finished. P.S. I want to move next door to you! (LOL)
Wonderful video. Great to put pockets on sweatpants that don’t have pockets. I lived in Maine 4 years n now living back in Texas. I try not to watch every video. That’s my 31 Ford model A.
Hi Cheryl, I am making a zipper bag with one of MSQC Fancy zippers. How would I put the zipper in since you don't turn the zipper wrong side up? This is my first bag I have made so it's all new to me. So I already cut my fabrics to size and put interfacing on them. Can I just sew a front and back together and then set it on the zipper and stitch? Now that I know to keep my fabric in one piece. Thank you
Hi Brenda. Here is another tutorial of mine with instructions on sewing a standard zipper into a bag: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ockMClgqWBA.html Hope this helps. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍
Hello, I just wanted to say Thank You so much for your videos ! I am trying to get back into sawing but always got overwhelmed with in instructions … You have made you videos perfect for me, I didn’t lose interest not once. Thank You Thank You Thank You!
Hi Lilly. I do not know if this machine does. I would go to a dealer store and ask for a demonstration on one of their machines that has that feature. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍
I keep forgetting about using flannel instead of batting - I’ve never sewn with flannel but I’m guessing I need to prewash the flannel because I know it does shrink (I dint prewash my quilting fabric). Alzo, how about using fleece instead of batting? Does thst need to be prewashed? It’s poly so I’m thinking not but…….
Great tutorial! Can you show us how to make the blue bathroom tissue holder on the wall behind you? If you have already have a vlog, can you please link it? I didn't see it in the link list in the more info box below your video. Love all the cute things you share and the knowledge you pass on! Have a happy Fourth of July!
Hi Angela. Here is the link to the toilet paper holder: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VQmCrrV9z58.html You have a great 4th also. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍
Instead of placing the block in the center use it in the 4 corners and the others for the 5. That way your centerpiece won't cover that beautiful block. Just another idea.
I love your color choices! I've been sewing for years off and on, but love your projects and tips...always something new to brighten my day! Thank you!
Thanks again for the corner triangle help! If you are open to video requests....Joann's has pre-shirred fabric by the yard, called the " one seam dress". The patterns on the fabric are airy, cool , inexpensive and very cute BUT at my age I don't want a strapless tube topped dress. Any chance you could show us how to add simple sleeves? Thank you.
Hi Gail. I have made summer dresses using that fabric. Don't have a tutorial using that particular fabric. But here is a tutorial on a similar style dress with straps added at the shoulders: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8G-Of3bH5Wk.html Hope this helps. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍
