Makes sense since I made it like over 10 years ago. I think it's mostly cuz I made the video in windows maker back then, I don't remember how the audio was in mp3 file.
@@Crok425 yeah honestly it's not bad, it just brings me back to the days of line limewire n Napster downloading anything and everything 😆 I generally listen to music on somewhat high end sound systems so it's easier to hear imperfections. You certainly put alot of effort into and it shows, which I most definitely appreciate!
I always though Erebus' theme was really underrated, but putting it with the MUCH more popular theme from the game works so well Im excited to replay the game next year on modern consoles (which is insane thats even happening), P3 has always been my least favorite of the main modern trilogy in terms of gameplay but the storytelling and soundtrack is top notch I just dont like Tartarus lol Its not enough to make me dislike the game by any means, just not favor it over 4 or 5 (or even Q2. That games tight, more people need to give it a shot)
I am trying to get into PQ1 but goddamn the game is not catching me, it'a boring, ngl. Tartarus isn't bad, the main complaint people have is that each sector of Tartarus changes way too subtely in both appearance and music, but it's basically the same type of dungeon as those of P4. The battle system isn't bad either.
@@Crok425 I find the dungeons in P4 to be a lot more interesting in terms of variety as opposed to the different blocks of Tartarus and how they tie into actual characters whereas Tartarus just seems weird for the sake of being weird in comparison. Also, the main setting of Inaba is much more relatable to me than Tatsumi Port Island as somebody who grew up in a rural hellscape of nothing lol PQ1 has this weird problem of getting worse as the game goes on, but the thing that kept me going was the soundtrack. I will die on this hill and say that the Q duology have the best soundtracks in the Shin Megami Tensei / Persona series. It's just a shame you have to play them with headphones because 3DS sound quality isn't the greatest
@@MoochMoment I dunno, to me more relatable doesn't make something good... again, just me. I dunno, I just don't like P4... thw dungeons do have a more variety but they feel boring a lot of times. As for the PQ's soundtrack... eh, it's good but I feel other Megaten games have better music. PQ has like two or three tracks going for it, imo, while games like Nocturne, SMTIV, SMTV and even previous Persona entries have a more memorable ost. I'm also guessing that I'm getting burned out from hearing j-pop in each entry of Persona... they're not bad, tho.
@@persona3rulez It's a 2006 game from a company that was never that high budgeted as it is now. And the experimental features aren't bad if you know how to use them, the AI for example isn't bad if you properly know how to use the tactics menu, but it vould be a tad better even though I never had trouble with the AI. And the exhaustion mechanic is barely an issue.
@@Crok425 actually I'm talking about Full-Moon Operations and Tartarus. I love Persona 2, 4, even SMT: Nocturne, yet I hate Persona 3 because it's literally 40 hours of Tartarus. Also there's really bad story progression. The only reason I didn't drop this game in June is spoilers. Because I've known what happens in January and what STREGA does, I've been playing to the end. There's just boring story until September (no intrigue whatsoever, the game "tells" you everything before June) and this damn Tartarus. I prefer diversity or at least not THAT long game. Like I said, I love Persona 4. There's DIFFERENT dungeons, intriguing detective story and better Social Links. And Full-Moons are just, well, boss-fights. You grind in Tartarus for like 2-3 hours and then you wait 2-3 more hours until Full-Moon happens and the game finally gives you something new like new party member, different Tartarus block (it's still shit but at least they change colors and add new props) or maybe even some story(STREGA in particular and everything that happens from September to January). And then there's this December full of waiting. I know, it's should be anxious part of the game but I'd started to hate this game somewhere at May when I realised it's literally "grind Tartarus => wait => Full-Moon => repeat" without much story progression, so when I had to wait 2 more hours knowing there will be no Full-Moon I started to just skip days, like SKIP days. Come home => sleep. I have nothing against long games, but at least do something to entertain me. Something except for grinding. Ok, there were Social Links but mostly they're pretty boring too and for some reason I just couldn't start half of them (I'd completed Old Couple and yet couldn't even find Bebe). P.S. Yes, I don't think there's much grinding in P2 and Nocturne because you fight along with story progression. You through the dungeon => you progress your story => you fight. You can escape from fights and just rush to the boss. Saves you a lot of time, you still spend less time to complete DIFFERENT dungeons compared to waiting in P3(yeah-yeah, you always can do boring SLs, which makes your waiting even longer, cool).
@@persona3rulez I ain't reading all that but I'll say that there is story before September, small developments for both story and characters. I never liked how people say that "nothing happens in the story until september/october" when that's hardly true, and P4 has it worse when the story is so repetitive until Nanko gets kidnapped.
woo yeah a comment 8 years in the making Could ya tell me how you have a better quality version of this remix than the other video featuring the exact same one?
