What a great lap! I was looking forward to state of origin just gone but they had to cancel it because of the grass parking being muddy. Which is fair. Shame though. Other than a V8 they’re completely incomparable cars. Even the similar engines are totally different if you consider that one is a pushrod and the other a DOHC. Pointless comparison
I've had a C63 plus 2 vxr8s one of them was the blue one that Clarkson reviews on top gear.and I'll tell you now noway was the C63 living sound wise to the vxr8
I remember first becoming a fan of holdens when I was around 10 and saw all the VR SS commodores around, the very first time I saw a VE was a picture in a press release and I absolutely loved it, took over 10 years but now I have both a VE calais V V8 wagon and sedan.

Hey! Sorry, just noticed your comment. It’s a while back now but from memory Z221, basic suspension work (rear sway bar, springs, etc), and some weight reduction. The class I was running in is pretty restrictive with what you can do. Best ‘mod’ I ever did was driver training!
Thanks! IIRC, 27/32 front, 20/32 rear, however you might have noticed the rear hopping around at T8 & 10, so I've upped the rear damping for the next outing.
