Filming and photographing beautiful places, writing about travel, drinking lots of coffee. Have written two books - Pakistan Traveller and Recipes for Ramadan.
In love with Pakistan, and travelling all over this beautiful land.
Interesting places, but sadly everything looks run down. Is the upkeep not up the mark? And it didn’t look like there are many tourists either, I was expecting the places to be teeming with them. Great, informative video. All the foods and drinks looked yum!
Thanks for watching! I can confirm that the food and drinks were as good as they look! As for the buildings, parts of the city are being gentrified and/or restored, however much of Mall Road is yet to go through that process.
@@salutation9265 Thanks for asking! It’s fine by me, although I don’t know if it technically “belongs” to the emergency authorities? As far as I’m concerned, however, go for it! I’d be interested in hearing the final project!
Hamza done the good job of showing all the hot hit spots and best/famous food spots in and around the area and off course the historical buildings 😊I pray that our country gets the good leaders who can inshaAllah take this country out of this mess which we are in right now 😊
@@fahadikram5459 thanks for watching! I visited Sialkot a few years ago - check out my vlog here - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cmLVdH6Py-g.html
Thanks for watching! And yes, good point - I included it in my eBook which accompanies the vlog! Link in the video description, if you're interested :)
Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦 ! Great content , my family lived in Lahore ( Gulberg ) and we left Lahore in the mid 70s and emigrated to Canada 🇨🇦 . I have wonderful childhood memories of Gulberg Lahore . 😊
I was very suprised of the quality of this Vlog, I got excited when you showed Mia Mir Darbaar as my dad is buried about 50 meters away from the Darbaar next to Imran Khans family. Not many people show this darbaar so i want to personally thank you.
This is a top quality alert. It conveyed a lot of useful advice in an efficient manner. It was specific and clear. It emphasized the severity of the issue without being hysterical.
Yay for mentioning everybody's beloved Readings!! A true game changer for Lahore's book devouring community. Lahore is traditionally known for its universities and colleges, btw. It has always been a city of knowledge, poetry, philosophy and politics. ❤
@@UrbanDuniya If you want to do a university and college tour, let me know. I think it could be an absolutely amazing representation of the real stuff of Lahore. I'm 3rd generation so my apologies I'm a bit protective of our original identity and culture 😂
Bht bht amazing explore kia ha lahore and after a long time i see lahore places in this video even mian mir darbar memories remind and gulberg, liberty and another places 😍🫰
I would love to go see lahore and karachi and maybe the mountains but safety as a hindu is a big concern. did you feel unsafe as a non-muslim in pakistan?
@@HarshPatel-yh7cq in general Pakistanis are very hospitable to visitors, and the issues tend to be restricted to the political arena. I am a Muslim, but I usually pass for non-Muslim because of my name, and I’ve never felt unsafe in Pakistan due to that :) happy travels!
@@user-fe8gi9tb4f true - I guess it fitted better into this vlog than my other ones, it’s quite well connected to Gulberg via Jail road etc. Thank you so much for watching, and your feedback!
These were Hindu and Sikh areas with beautiful big houses/havelis with small spaces and gardens which were destroyed after the partition. Now it looks like a crowded dirty place with ignorant people. Foreigners can go there for experience but wouldn’t suggest staying there too long because of crowds, noise, dirt, etc.
I would suggest foreigners to stay away from religious gatherings in Lahore and generally in Pakistan because there are many extremist ignorant Muslims who may harm that’s why there are so many checkpoints. It is not as peaceful as shown here in this video.
