Please view the wiring diagram for this system. Also, from which website can I buy such a device and from which seller, because I ordered a similar one and it did not come with the same specifications. There were some minor differences, such as the connection diagram behind the device that is not colored, and the value of the internal resistance is not present, but instead it is the battery charge percentage.
@@EFFICIENTSELF It’s cold anywhere south of the Tropic of Capricorn at the moment Dino, after Goomburra we’re thinking of heading up to Karanda or at least in that direction. 👍👍❤️🇦🇺
Hi Dino, I was looking foreward to watching your new Hiace build as I'm sure you were yourself even more, but sometimes we just have to go with the flow. Things do go up and down and can pick up before you know. I have been living in a smaller van than your Mitzy and building an older 98 commuter for my next bigger van. I finished stage 1 a few weeks ago, but before I took of I Had to sell my 2001 Toyota Townace with a decent quality overlander style conversion before I could take off to have spending money, and I Had to sell it A.S.A.P within 3 weeks. I was in Caboulture area where I advertised it on FB marketplace and Gumtree. I also got scammers on Gumtree and nothing else. My asking price was priced to sell for what it was comparing to other similar vans for sale at the time (not going to get anywhere near what I put in, especially the many mechanical upgrades). I did sell it within 2 weeks, but I did drop my price by 15%. My situation is definately different to yours, but everything will sell for a price, just depends on priorities.
Hey there! Thanks for sharing your experience. It sounds like you've been on quite a journey with your van builds. I can relate to the ups and downs of these projects. Sometimes, we have to make tough decisions to keep things moving forward, just like you did with selling your Toyota Townace. It's impressive that you managed to sell it within two weeks despite the challenges. Best of luck with your 98 commuter build thanks for sharing and thanks for watching 👍🍻
If you meaning one of those solid flat bbq plates um not that I know of . I know the Coleman double stove you can as I have one for my Coleman and possibly will fit in the kings double stove but not that I know of with the single burner kings. Thanks for watching 👍🍻
Well done for calling out the undersized cabling which so many people overlook when the cabling is included with a device. To the best of my knowledge, earthing of inverters is not required and unsafe unless used with "shore power" or if the vehicle is connected to the ground via an Earth rod. Thanks for sharing.
Done another video on the bigger noco unit and it’s awesome. It’s the noco boost hd 2000 amp jump starter ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0iz3g2_D1sI.html
I looked at these a while back and thought they looked good so good to know they are a good unit. Ive recently come across the Projecta Intllistart which have a rapid recharge system where you leave it connected for less than a minute after jump starting and it fully recharges which seems like a very handy setup to not being stuck with a flat jump starter. Do you know much about these modeals? Vid here - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ceX8-iu4txc.html
G’day. I watched the link you put up and to be honest I haven’t heard of them before so don’t know anything about them . Projecta is a reputable brand in the automotive and camping accessories market, and their products generally receive positive feedback for reliability and performance. If you want a jump starter that's convenient and efficient, the Intellistart models could be a great choice. However, it’s always a good idea to check user reviews and specific model features to ensure it meets your needs. Thanks for the comment I have learnt something today . Thank you for watching much appreciated 👍🍻
Bought it about 2 and half years ago with about 350k on the clock . Apparently the head was redone as the previous owner cooked the engine when it overheated. He was a 60 year old guy and owned it for about 6 years . The time I bought for 4K . I had to put new tyres on it and have got the water pump replaced and new battery in the time I’ve owned it . The paint work isn’t the best on it with little rust here and there but it’s reliable . Great little van it’s got 2 litre engine . Probably try get one with the 2.4 litre engine . Hope this helps and thanks for watching 👍🍻
I've looked at them closely for a while now but haven't tried one so good to see it's as good as I thought 👍 I recently came across the projecta intellistart which seem to be a better option because they recharge in less than a minute after jumping so would negate the "forgot to recharge it" factor Your thoughts mate? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ceX8-iu4txc.html&si=R9l2dC5gQpCMRIHT
I have the GB 50 for about 5 years now and it has been great. I have a 3 liter v6 diesel engine and it has started my car effortlessly when I have a flat battery. Another good video about an excellent product.
👁️👁️😎😇❤️🇦🇺I’ve got a Gooloo same dog different leg action ,they’re great to use as a power brick as well, just to give it a bit of a run and recharge occasionally ❤️🙏
cheers tezza really appreciate your comment, means a lot . Hope the gentrax battery is still going well as mine ,I been happy with it . Thanks for watching 👍🍻
@@EFFICIENTSELF cheers Dino, still at Geurie, the brides home from England, she put a bar on the bank card thinking it was only hers,I went to use my and it got swallowed,so I’m waiting on a new card before moving 😂😂. Coming out of Sydney she also grabbed the wrong bag ,exact same bag and tags just different name and phone number ,she rang the lady and she had the brides bag but didn’t know until the bride rang her. So the next day we drove to Bathurst and they drove from Sydney to Bathurst for the great bag exchange 😂😂. If we eventually get our shirt together we are going to Goomburra for the legends for charity event and then heading north. Stay strong 👍👍❤️🇦🇺
Sounds like you’ve had quite the adventure recently. Glad to hear your bride is back, even if it did come with some hiccups .The trip to Goomburra for the Legends for Charity event sounds fantastic! Stay strong and safe travels. Thanks for the support 👍🍻
Thanks for that one A reminder video on same basic stuff never goes astray Thanks for putting the effort in and creating an informative video All the best
Nice one Dino, thanks mate, I always solder my Anderson plug connectors that way they can be used again. Seeya Rob.....I hope you're all well and safe up there buddy, we are down here.
You just keep putting out great videos for the DIY’s out there. Just something for your consideration. I’m sure I have seen similar fittings like the mc4 wire connection and I think the metal fitting , the u shaped section needs to be slid over the insulation and crimped. The circular section is then crimped on the bare wire. The reason I’m assuming is it gives a stronger resistance of failure in tension.
@@frednurks8528 Thanks for the compliment 👍You’re right about the MC4 connectors. The U-shaped metal fitting should be crimped over the insulation to provide strain relief, while the circular section should be crimped on the bare wire to ensure a secure electrical connection. I appreciate the suggestion and will definitely keep it in mind .Actually I just picked up myself the proper crimp tool kit for these connectors Thanks for watching take care👍🍻
If you mean the ferrule crimper it was the tool and the ferrules kit as well I got it from here www.ebay.com.au/itm/394515539328?var=663063685533 but I finally purchased the proper crimper for the mc4 plugs and that was cheaper than the ferrules kit www.ebay.com.au/itm/175854479427 hope this helps and thanks for watching 👍🍻
@@wonderwalls3565 I don’t think it will stand the temperature of the muffler. Probably try jb weld muffler seal you can get from super cheap auto or ask them if there is something better perhaps ?Thanks for watching 👍🍻
@@EFFICIENTSELF The Coleman version is 3/4 of the way to a good stove for the price, they dropped the ball on some of the details Too much marketing, not enough engineering Would be interesting to do a bit of a teardown and compare the component quality of the Kings version
For some reason I got some at Kmart for $0.70. It said $35 on the shelf but when it scanned at $0.70 I bought 4! If your not sure if you should get one get in quick and scan one, hope you get a bargin!
70 cents each is a bargain . They probably made a mistake in the markdown but their stuff up is your gain. I recently seen some in a Kmart and think they were marked down to $23 . You absolutely winning 🤙 thanks for watching 👍🍻
But you get three for the price of one mate. so you are getting the rating of sorts but you have three batteries one is always ready to go, and if one goes down no problem. two ready to go.
I got mine off eBay for $479 it arrived the other day. I also bought a Atem battery box for $130 again off eBay. The battery fits in the box perfectly with room at the end to mount a shunt and a Victron 100/30. So if you're looking for a battery box Atem is a good fit.
Sorry no ideas i have transferred to thermos they are just as good quality with reasonable prices on their replacement stoppers. Thanks for watching 👍🍻
These are brilliant units but when you charge to 100% on Solar you get the E02 code and it will not restart until you u plugged the solar panels! I’ve heard there is a software fault but awaiting All powers to confirm what they intend to do with the units already out in the field
Yes only just experienced this out recently myself . I found I have had to restart the unit when this happens. Hopefully they have a solution for this soon . Thanks for sharing and thanks for watching 👍🍻
Cheers. Yes certainly has for sure . But on the plus side I get to keep my existing van and I been picking up some work transporting things around and people are always moving house . It’s actually great as they cashie jobs . I’m keeping well brother .hope you are all well 👍🍻
