Yes, I am also a trained tech. I am able to attend to most things first hand on the farm. I've also been a small farmer for twenty years and grew up farming. You try to learn everything you can about health care and safety. We really do everything we can to provide a safe environment for these animals.
Yes, Minshew is an LGD. Meaning of this is he trains to not play, but to watch and guard our entire farm. He will be very large. He will protect us from bears, cougars and coyotes. He is currently training at a slow pace with daily activities with all the animals. This was his first day. He has to bond with everyone that lives here including the chickens. Once he is bonded he will have free range. I hope this helps to understand a little better. I'm not a great teacher, but I like to share about our little farm. 😊
