This P7R is rather simple flashlight. No SOS or strobe, just a simple light and zoom in/out. Great. All though it's a bit expensive, considering for what it offers, but the bottom line is it's a great general flashlight. Also good thing is, it can use both types of 18650, flat top and button top batteries, i have tried, works well both ways. Interesting fact: I had one more of those. Two the same flashlights, but totally different color tint. Second one which had a color more to the bluish side (around 8000K), had the flicker problem in the low and medium mode. This could be up to a defective led diode. I kept the one with around 6000-6500K i guess. This is perfect. Not warm, not cold/bluish, but a pure white color. Two of those are purchased from the different countries. That can explain the tint color i guess. Nice video of yours 👍🏻.
I have the M7R and it messed up on me so I'm looking to get another one. They don't have the M7R any longer but this one seems comparable but more lumens, however it doesn't say if it strobes? Any idea??
Nice video I got the mt10 similar specs but the reach is abit less in the mt10 all though the power lasts twice as long Have been looking for MH10 head lamp at a good price. Spotted a h8r with the same specs and it came with p5 for a good price the same battery as the p7r, MH10, mt10, h8r and unlike other models I can by a generic of the shelf My question is why do Led Lenser have so many products that are very similar specs I’m sure there could be less models with the higher specs and for a better price. Production would be cheaper, even in China Condense your good stuff Led Lenser the rest are catching m you
my problem with it is that everytime i wanna use it, i have to switch the power levels all over again to get the brightest setting, how to disable that?
There's 3 power levels, it's hardly a chore, you sausage! I've used lenser for 10 years, every single night at work, multiple times and it has never been a problem to press the button twice. 🤦🏽♂️
If you watch from 4:20 or 5 mins in, he explains a feature that can program it to switch to the highest setting initially by pushing the button 8 times.
I have been using it for a full year now (when I walk with the dog) and I like it a lot. It costed me about 60€ at the time. The way it charges is perfect. I fully recommend it.
