Talofa lava guys, I can tell you the name of that white cloudy smoke where you could see on the beach is called white island, she erupted for few days and i don't know if you guys heard on news about those tourist who died when she erupted while they were on a tour on her. and that little island on left is called whale island, if you guys still in Whakatane there a water fall you can go see as well. and a cave you can walk through as well in town. their a history about Whakatane, and where you guys were before is call Ohepe beach. heaps of kaimoana too.
