Hi I'm Bethany and welcome to my channel. I am a Mom of 3 kids and I'm all about authentic motherhood; sharing the raw, real and amazing moments being a Mom brings. I also homeschool my kids and create dollhouse makeovers!
Here on my channel is a community of Moms (and parents) who are just figuring out life together!
I hope my videos can help you in some way and not make you feel alone in your motherhood journey!
Thanks for the video ♥ I am very anxious about the postpartum after a c-section... I hope the pain is bearable😅 Both c-sectuon and vaginal birth sound so scary to me. But due to a pathological problem of mine , i am stuck with the c-section option only
I froze lots of homemade bean and cheese burritos, meatloafs, pasta, and pesto chicken w/ potatoes. I wish I would’ve remembered big undies that would go over my incision. I was happy to have my belly binder and shoes that would fit my giant swollen feet. This time around I’ve almost completely stopped bleeding at almost 4 weeks. My pain was much more this time around, but it made my swelling seem not so bad comparatively 😂. My feet and legs were like balloons both times. I didn’t need the heavy pain meds with my 1st, but absolutely needed them with my 2nd.
You’re doing great mama! We are starting our first year of homeschooling this year. I’m nervous, but so excited. How did you make the hanger for the daily rhythm?
I just had my second a month ago and I didn’t take prenatals nor did I purchase maternity clothes. If I have a third I’m going to do the same. 🙏🏼 I will say, I’m nervous about the first trimester with 2 kids. That first trimester kicked my butt with my second pregnancy - I had migraines for my first time in my life and I was soooooo tired 😩😩
How do you manage to exercise during pregnancy? How have you been feeling? I was really hoping to have an active pregnancy with my 1st and found it impossible with constant nausea and fatigue. It's definitely not what I was expecting... now thinking of having a 2nd one trying to plan for a better pregnancy the 2nd time around and would really appreciate some more realistic tips for being active as postpartum recovery took me forever, and I know the benefits are so good.
I had scheduled out time in my day specifically for going to the gym which helped me stay more motivated. Even when I did t feel like it or felt the best I still went and did something. I also made myself a practical plan of exercises to do so I had a purpose to my workouts. Now I’m just mostly prioritizing movement (walking/light jogging) and retaining strength. I hope that helps! 🥰
OMG! YES!!! I totally know what you mean when you talk about that “lack-of-sleep-hangover” I am absolutely experiencing that too when I am slept deprived and my remedy is a big glass of electrolytes! I use the element ones in 32 oz water and it is absolutely amazing how it helps to pick me up and clears my head!!! I highly recommend it!! ❤
It would be great if you could link or talk more about your supplement choices! Most of us probably go the conventional route because we have no idea what is needed for a pregnant body and of course the baby!
I’ve actually been taking beef liver capsules or organ meats, magnesium, vitamin c and omega-3’s. I used the brand perfect supplements and have a code BETHANYF10 if you want to use it! www.perfectsupplements.com/?Click=63804067bf4ae
I use perfect supplements. Here the link for you! 🙂 I also have a code BETHANYF10 for 30% off if you buy 3 of any perfect supplement brand products. www.perfectsupplements.com/?Click=63804067bf4ae
Bethany i occasionally have watched your videos over the years especially when you were pregnant with your last son because my daughter was also pregnant with her last son at the same time he being born in August of 2021. My daughter also has 4 kids, 2 girls and 2 boys just like you will have only she had her 2 boys last and girls first. You seem to be just the sweetest young woman and i am so happy you are having a girl for your last baby, much congratulations.
I'm wondering if anyone could recommend some reading books for a thirteen year old. I am tutoring this student for SAT and scholarly writing, but the parents would like me to recommend some library books. The family is from India. I am not sure of their religion. I want to give him books that will influence him in Judeo- Christian values and beliefs without being overt. Thanks for any help with this. 🤍
Girl. You have just taken a million pounds of stress off my shoulders. I’m over here thinking I have no room in my house for a “classroom” setting or room for all these things you see people have. Thank you for showing us that it’s possible without all of that!!! I am subbed now!
Thank you for making this video. Tomorrow is my scheduled c-section. Since im high risk t1d, I've been the whole pregnancy filled with fear about the consequences and dangers by the Dr and gynos. Some as scary as "you can die on the table!" And Ive done everything to avoid the dangers. Unfortunately, the little one is happy being breeched and refused to flip so Im stuck doing c-section. These last days have been emotional roller coaster fearing the worst but hoping for the best. Your video truly helped ease the tension i had and i thank you for that.
Thank you for talking about your actual experience with how recovering went!! I've watched a lot of c-section recovery videos where they just repeat the basic things they read online, like keep your scar dry and take sure it isn't infected. I love that you actually told your story! It helps me know what to expect, which is what I need.
This is a GREAT video. I started already doing this stuff and its life changing. I also go to a close pond and lay down and read my bible during my lunch.
WHATTTTTTT!!!!! OMG how exciting, I haven't seen your videos for over a year and your Instagram post.... Congratulations ❤❤❤❤❤ so exciting ur having another baby 👶 ❤️ 💓💓💓💓💓
