Their best album. Live back then was probably amazing. Too bad they stopped recording new stuff like Mindcrime and stuck with touring a limited selection.

Actually mindcrime is one of my most listened ro records and has been for decades, the kind of record tou can just let play all the was theu cause every somg is good, maybe if tate lost a little weight and got some more excercise he could still belt it out
My music teacher mother was enamored with Tate back in 1984. I had no idea what she meant until she explained that no one just sings that way without serious schooling and practice in things rock singers don't work at.
We def need a reunion,man! Love to see the originals back together, just sounded better with the main guys. Anyone can play them but not anyone can write them!
Geoff isn't going for every high note, but he's hitting enough to let you know he's not done yet. Big respect for this guy. I'd go see him every time ahead of the fake "Queensryche."
Saw the fake QR and the lead singer was 100% singing to a backing track and hiding his mouth and throat with a "hair curtain"... Stuff that was effortless for Geoff back in the day.... Saw the other singer's Adam's Apple not matching up.. .the whole bit.... Completely shameful.
Of all of the guys in Tate's era of classically trained / operatic style vocalists (Dickinson, Hansen, Dio & such a like), Tate is still stellar. He also appears to be GENUINELY HAPPY w/ his band mates. Even though it's not Queensryche, it has the magic of Queensryche w/o the tension. That's all that one could ask for. STELLAR.
A great band splits, and turns into two mediocre, watered down acts. And c'mon Geoff.....the silk-screened bed sheet behind the drum kit is really bummin' me out.
I agree the band was better back in the day, but the banner behind the drum set I thought was alright, kinda cool actually. After reading your comment I just had to ask, what size bed do you suppose that would fit and where can I get one? HaHa! Let me know! Thanks bud.
Jeff without Queensryche and Queensryche without Jeff are just never going to be the same or as good. Jeff is there vocally but this is like a great cover band behind him. Well that`s really what it is? Todd is no Jeff. So there you have it!
Une vrai Force ce groupe. Sans prétention. Un travail musical de qualité et soigné. Très bon j'adore leur mélodie a chaque fois. Vraiment super. Bravo.
