This channel was started to share my love of Tuba Skinny with the world. Tuba Skinny is a New Orleans band that plays authentic 1920s jazz and blues, (think King Oliver, Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton) as well as country, r and b and gospel music, all of which is timeless. They brought me to New Orleans to see them play and make these videos. They are great musicians and we have brought them to Philadelphia to play for three fund raisers for the Philadelphia Unemployment Project, which were great successes, with large, adoring crowds.
