They do have names but just because I can identify them doesn’t mean my grandfather and other people can identify them when it is needed. So in order to easily identify them I mark them at the top of the shell.

The ground is raised a few inches on the inside, the torts I’ve kept here don’t dig much. It’s been Hermann’s and redfoots both of these species aren’t tunnelers
Tortoises can eat the same thing at any size the only difference is the food needs to be cut much smaller and be softer for the babies. For carrots I would do shavings or thin slices for a little one.
My California Mojave desert tortoise bites really hard. Sometimes I hand feed him and my finger gets in the way because he turns his head and he bit through the skin once. I think he could probably bite a whole finger off.

No they can not. It’s mainly depends what the pellets are but 9 times out of 10 rabbit pellets have alfalfa which is bad for tortoises. Thanks for watching 🙌
Yup I’ve been wanting to do this for years but I’m getting a new animal almost weekly so it keeps getting pushed back 😭😭 yes I still have the prairie dogs and a ferret, they are doing good although I was debating rehoming them.
I’ve been here since 2020 I think you should try to focus on RU-vid shorts and tik tok it only takes like 3 minutes to make a RU-vid short and it will get you way more views and subscribers

I mainly put the lids just to stack them. I leave some open because they are probably hatching soon so it’s easier for me to see but my incubator keeps humidity and temperature the same regardless of wether they have lids or not :)
