There is a common observation that leads to the conclusion that “expensive” denotes a more “prosperous” country. This may not be the case in real terms. So please refrain from looking down on poorer people who actually are paying a price for your enjoyment of cheap food for pushing up prices. Be sensitive and enjoy your time in Johore.
It must be difficult shooting a video with so many people around you. Thanks for doing that for us, Sugar. The crispy fried vegetable pancake and jackfruit fritter looked delicious and crunchy, and of course you can't lose with steamed fresh corn and butter! Have a wonderful weekend!!
Yes is very difficult , n also finding a decent place to sit down n flim eating while the wind is so big n everything flying.I hope the sound improve abit.. thanks ! Yeah the fried jackfruit , prawn fritters n corns r my fav! Thks for always taking time to watch n write me comments! Appreciate 🙏🏽🍬💖
There is bua long long juice in a lot of hawker fruit stalls in Singapore....it's not "rare". The ramly burger is not cooked from scratch, they don't make their own patties and buns. It's cooked by order.
What fun to be able to find your childhood favorites, Sugar! I love your giggles as you eat them. 😊 I _have_ seen several of those confections, but I've never eaten any. The pineapple jam, peanut cookies, and yogurt candy would be my favorites--I love chewy and crumbly things. 😆 I don't eat many snacks, especially here in the U.S. where snack foods are usually high in sugar, fat, and salt. I do like fruit snacks like dried fruits and fruit "leather." Also fruit cookies like raisin biscuits and Fig Newtons (a soft cookie with fig jam inside). I hope you'll be able to go to Japan someday and see Shinichi and Satoshi! I know you'd have a lot of fun. Also, I'm sure the guys would give you pointers on video production and on how to have a successful YT channel. They are so knowledgeable, generous, and kind. I admire you for challenging yourself and going outside your comfort zone to have this channel, Sugar. Your perserverance will pay off--just remember it may take a lot of time. YT is such a huge platform with _so_ many content creators. Some wonderful channels I follow took 10 years or so to really make it. So, don't get discouraged. ❤❤❤ Just keep moving forward, and watch very successful food and travel channels to see how they do what they do.👍

Err i working near by for past 12 years.... actually i am suprised u still covering . Ever since the owners went on expansion and no longer tending the stall the standards drop since and after covid. These 2 years no longer you will see long queue , but 0~4 customers at best. Soup use to be pork rib broth and now watery pepper soup... noodles were Q and now it is lump together... well errr i dun think it will survive soon
Hi thanks for letting me know. Did u view my video? I wanted to cover the nasi lemak but is not open is my first time trying this stall so did a review. Which stall in this hawker wil u recommend ?
This was awesome, Sugar!! It was such fun to see all the festive decorations, especially the representations of dragons (I was born in the Year of the Dragon).🐉 Thank you for taking us to Pure Pandan and Nanyang Old Coffee & Museum--two places I'd definitely go when in Singapore. I love pandan, so the cream cheese pandan roll was very attracttive to me. Of course, the other super soft and fluffy chiffon cakes looked delicious. I think the cranberry cake would have been my favorite. Also, your 360 degree camera twirl at the end was _very_ cute.😊 Best of all, I could hear every word in the video! 🙌

It's interesting to see a European-style town in Malaysia. I wonder what the motivation to build it was. All the food looked very tasty, particularly the dim sum at Jiah Xiang and the super chocolate-y Magnum Ice Cream Bar at 7-11. Yum! Thank you for taking us on this fun late night foodie tour, Sugar! ❤
