Stunning voice. This song was very much in the background of my mind all these years but I never forgot it. I'm so glad I went to RU-vid and looked it up. I had remembered the words but as a kid in high school I was too immature to appreciate that voice. Upon hearing her voice yesterday, I immediately ordered the CD. I'm in love. Background vocals are angelic too. =PC=
The Europeans have a higher sensitivity to music than Americans. They have a deeper feeling for the emotional and sentimental while we are far more superficial in our tastes. I envy them.
🤔 I'm sure I heard another verson by Pat Thomas once when I was a pup. Nobody remembers it but I do remember the name. I just can't tolerate northern soul people. Naughty me 😂
I told myself that youust have decided to not carry on with your music career. There is just no way someone with such Grace and voice couldn't have succeeded. I have your album. I hope you are well.
Best singer ever, I remember all of these awesome songs by Jerry. He really could sing all those romantic songs with his beautiful voice. He was a very sexy looking man also . Miss you. ❤️❤️😘😘
My father was Russian, my mother German, my sister was born in Salzburg, Austria, I was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, now I live in Chicago, I really don't know who I am, but I know I always loved this song by Lolita, RIP!
Happened to so many of us: I was born in Germany (German mother) American father. Left when I was 10 to come to the U.S. Loved living in El Paso Texas for almost 3 years - identify as a South-westerner. Then moved to that hell-hole called The Deep South at around 13 years old - all my siblings identify as red-neck Southerners. I was very depressed living in the South - hearing this song on the radio every now and then reminded me of who I am and where I was from - saved me from severe depression while living in the South, where everyone tried to shred my German identity.
She was a great, talented singer. But she should not have been smoking because she would not died from throat cancer. That is why I do not smoke and use unhealthy products because I want to keep myself as healthy as possible. Rest In Peace, Mary.
