Yes, some places especially hospitals makes you take a vision test to ensure your not color blind. This depends on the area and location your working as well.
Hey, I want to do night shift phlebotomy too would it mostly be hospitals or or do yk any blood banks that do nights shift too cause I’m trynna work and do school 😭but I haven’t been able to find any. 9pm to 5am is perfect 😭

Hey, do you do the paperwork side as a Phlebotomist as well like LabCorp and registering the pt? And what kind of facility do you work in as a Phlebotomist?
I don’t know how LabCorp does it but I don’t register pt I just print out they paperwork to go with the lab samples & I work with a company but I’m located at a rehab facility

I’ll still make a video about it but I went in person and it was called phlebotomist training specialist, I made note cards for every chapter and study them, I got a job at the hospital first but it did take me 6 months to get my first job
Ahh I’m so nervous, I start Quest in a few days. How is it working in a clinic ? Do they show you the test tube colors usually? .. I know I got this I came too far and finally got a job
it’s okay to be nervous i was nervous when i first started at the hospital & when i started where I am now. It’s depends at my site it’s busy some days then other days but I love it. For me they did let me know all the tests they needed so usually they do show the test tubes you would be working with…. You got this your going to do good ❤️
