I am an absolute niche-girl and love weird, edgy scents. But at the moment I like and buy classic scents, cheaper scents and even celebrity scents 😅 Found out that these don't have to be boring and generic AT ALL ❤
Womanity... what a beautiful unique scent.... i was lucky enough to find and buy a big recharge and yet i don't even dare to open it as I know that soooo hard to get
YES!!! I feel the exact same way about the niche perfume industry as you do! Since the start of summer I have been into designer fragrances again and in truth I find that many of them (especially those from the late 90s and early to mid 00s) are done better and are way more unique than current niche ones! I’m just so happy I’m not the only one feeling this way cos I thought it might be the first signs of aging 😂😅
Angel Muse is my absolute favorite! There is something so addictive about it. I use mine on very special occasions! I think I will cry when I run out of it Amazing list !!! ❤❤❤
This video made me so happy!😍😍 reminded me of the period when I first started to watch your videos and a simpler times in a way. Could have watched you talk about designers for hours❤️
IMO designer used to be more blended; you couldn't pick out the individual notes as much (Good Girl, Poison Girl). I love modern ones too but everything seems to have 1-2 prominent notes e.g. lavender, vanilla, citrus, neroli etc.
i love these new videos demi! even just seeing the culture in Dubai is so neat. It would be super cool to see how the responses differ in different countries around the world :)
Prada Candy was like my signature scent when I was 16/17. And back then the longevity was really good, I would spray it on in the evening, party the whole night and when I woke up the next morning I could absolutely still smell it on my skin.
Wow, coming from you hearing the validation that I needed to hear about the niche industry is everything. I’ve been seeing so many influencers dog out Designer, Arabic, and celebrity fragrances while Designer fragrances are my absolute fave. So happy to see this and hopefully this can spark a change in the perfume community and force the niche houses to do better.❤
Give us more videos about designer fragrances, please! So glad for you are coming back to so good designer fragrances! We love your distcint perfumer tastes!
I did a blind buy on D&G devotion and I am unfortunately not a fan. On me, it smells like overpowering lemon rind and bacon lol. It dries down to bacon with a hint of petrol. I guess...I smell like a snack lol.
Thank goodness! I’ve been feeling so overwhelmed, exhausted, and a little disappointed from the relentless output of niche releases… I just want beautifully composed perfumes that personally resonate and-most importantly-that don’t disappear after an hour😢. Sadly, many of the niche fragrances I have “invested” in are high maintenance-super expensive and quickly become skin scents, requiring repeated applications throughout the day to maintain the aroma. I recently reconnected with designer fragrances after being gifted a bottle of Devotion-wow, it is such an intoxicatingly yummy, all day stunner. Love NR’ Musc Rose, too -so reasonably priced! Prada Infusion d’Iris is my mum’s signature scent, so I totally get your trepidation 😆-but it is pure elegance💜. I live in Tokyo, so Zen is an easy and super appropriate option for me-my first ever fragrance purchase was Shiseido’s Feminite du Bois, sadly, the Serge Luten version lacks the depth and allure of the original. Based on your comments, I’m going to reconnect with Zen tomorrow- I first tried it about 20 years when it was in the original black bottle. 😊 In terms of designer fragrances, I absolutely adore the entire Jardin series from Hermes, particularly Un Jardin a Cythere. I would love to hear your thoughts on the range. 🙏🏻
