Brilliant analysis from Mr. Rameswamy!! He understands the maxim "A Nation That Forgets Its' Defenders Will Itself Soon Be Forgotten!!". As a Vietnam Veteran I would welcome him as President.
Ramaswamy brings echoes of Marcus Aurelius, the Roman philosopher-ruler who brought stability to an unstable nation. He was not a warmonger, and his philosophy reveals his aversion to war. He believed that war should be avoided whenever possible and that it should only be waged as a last resort. He also believed that war is an unfortunate reality of life that must be faced with courage and resilience but be conducted with humanity and compassion. Vivek will be a leader of this lineage.
Greetings from Reno, NV. I know that on your videos of vet interviews no comments are permitted, which I take to be a very serious sign of respect to the vets who are telling their stories. Given the political content of this video, it makes sense that you would allow comments. I certainly have an opinion about this candidate, but I'm not interested to be critical and analytical here. Instead, I want to publicly comment on and praise the whole of this channel, which is simply outstanding. You are doing a wonderful service to these vets and providing a very valuable archive of video content. It's really great to see both how many interviews you keep producing and that your channel continues to grow. I hope that you stick with it for years to come and have a chance to do more with veterans from Afghanistan and Iraq, whose collective time for reflection presumably has not yet come. - James
I'm grateful for this note. You are correct about why the comments are on here. I share your hope that the project will continue for years. It seems that Iraq and Afghanistan vets are where the Vietnam vets were in the 1980s and '90s--unwilling to speak about their experiences. I hope that, over time, more will be willing to share their part of history. Thank you again for such a kind, perceptive and thoughtful note.
It's Vivec who presented to this platform how the country should honor and support the veterans No one, by far, presented a clear understanding of the plite of these veterans and how he is going to reform it.
A large percentage of Viet Nam veterans were draftees. That seems to be forgotten. If they survived, they were still despised by many of their fellow Americans for having served.
This is why it's important to tell them "welcome home" and to be interested in their memories. Many prefer "welcome home" to "thank you for your service."
I love Vivek. I feel he’ll respect our Veterans more than any other candidates running. He will be a great President. Everyone tell your friends and family about Vivek. We need him to win in a landslide. Vivek 2024🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
He is not running away or diverting the topic to answer the question Hope he get through the election Most of the people dislike bcoz of his religion i think
I just don't get it. Trump is the most un Christian guy there is. Adultery, lying, stealing (TRUMP UNIVERSITY), treating people badly and calling them names etc etc. Yet Christians look up to him as a savior.
Vivek is just awesome, he is a living breathing lightening rod, i just love vivek period , me and my family supported desantis but like many others has shifted to vivek's camp and will campaign and vote for him, i already see most of the people around me supporting vivek, america should not let this be a missed opportunity, lets get this young intelligent guy to oval office.....lets try intelligent and young for once
We don’t tell our vets “Thank you for your service” just for them. We tell them so the next generation see how we treat our vets - with respect they deserve. 🎉❤
I would love to ask the same question of every other candidate. So far as I can tell, Vivek is the only one who takes dozens of questions from ordinary citizens six days a week (with probably more on Sundays). If for nothing else, he deserves credit for this.
Why would Vivek even mention Red Flag Laws seems like he supportes them as does Trump and Red Flag Laws are completely unconstitutional...I like him Vivek but now not so sure, please my fellow Americans non of these people truly care about us what matters is that we stay together and protect the Constitution no matter what!
He understands the Constitution way better than you. He studied at Yale Law School. And you should listen well because listening is the beginning of understanding. Peace!
@@belovedone151That’s what I heard… he said veterans returning from combat should not be subjected to red flag laws. People, please actually listen to what he said before bashing and telling people not to support him.
