Hi, this is a lovely melody, I can't find it on my copy of Shireinu, might you please have any tips as to how I might find the sheet music for it, eg composer, collection, or source etc? Many thanks indeed, Jonathan
i so enjoy these stories, but regretfully am finding the background music such that i'm having a very difficult time focusing on the words of the tellers. written with hopes that the day of background music for such lovely videos will soon be coming to an end. xo
I find her the most unsuitable anchor in i24 news. She is so irrating. with her pronounced singing South African accent and strange "nodding -dog" mannerisms and claping her hands when interviewing as if praying! Surely i24 can find more Isreali born presenters and not rely on the others who appear to be US born or educated. Its Israel after all. Amongst the others Laura Celllier ex France24 English clearly knows nothing of Israel. Ellie Hochenberg, an Israeli, is very good & getting even better each year. Calec Ben-David who obviously wants to intergrate with that Hebrew name is OK, but that Bronx NY accent he always reminds me of the owner of a NYC delicatessen. The newer Arab Israeli, Hamdah Salhut is pretty good and also improving. However she always seems to be peeved, stressed and there under duress. The one I miss alot who had much to offer was another Israeli Arab Lucy Aharish. She was very smart & professional. A credit to the station. I wonder why she left and has disappeared from the Israeli media ?
ADDENDUM: Hamdah SALHUT (Israeli Arab with pout and constant dour expression) has truly "gone native" since the early days of the 7 October Gaza war. Suddenly she vanished from the i24news english channel only to reappear as Al Jazeera resident reporter "from occupied Jerusalem". She quickly learnt their rules and refers to "hostages" as captives and her reporting also tows the AJ line. In my books, like Haaretz, Gideon Levy & Co they are all treacherous and certainly in wartime Britain would have been quickly locked up or closed down "for the duration". Israel is far to liberal & indulgent in this respect and such reporting is not good for national moral. Also the daily reporting of deaths is another sore point. They do not need to be reported so quickly as if its a toll count?
Dear Producers, This presentation would have been a hundred percent if the speaker was not overpowered by the background music. I don't know why this is employed over and over again in videos. This woman deserved to be center stage, not the music.
