Most comprehensive tutorial on this important topic that I have found! Good refresher, even if you think you already know this stuff. Thanks for posting!
Which direction opens them up? Which direction closes them up? Does clockwise increase rebound or decrease rebound does counterclockwise increase rebound decrease rebound? How wonderful that absolutely nobody will explain this particular point but they will talk at nauseam about everything else
I just loved watching so many of these videos where everyone just sits there and says what they're doing but doesn't explain what direction they're going and what result you get opposite direction opposite result. Thanks for a completely useless video again
How long do stock springs last? My bike is at 40hrs, already did maintenance on front forks and since then my rear shock feels too soft. Im underweight, which makes this a more confusing problem. im gonna try going 120psi or less in front forks to help compensate (front is too har, opposite problem that's why I feel like there is a correlation) Should I also consider a new shock? They must run out of juice, too, the material doesn't hold its tension value with time that's for sure. Just how long is my question hahahaha
I bet he tried to lower his bike with the front forks The front fork must be set within those 3 lines. Otherwise all of the suspension will be off, Sit on the bike look into a mirror on the side and compress the suspension, It should compress evenly not Bind, Setting the front fork to the right height, Will give you a lot of confidence, the bike will then feel correct, After sag height and fork height is adjusted correctly to wear everything works simultaneously, Then set compression and rebound for your style of trail riding or motorcross.
