11:26 to 12:00 is basically almost 2 decades of Intial D fans and car enthusiast like myself nutting their brains out by both the 4 wheel drift and the throwback to the Sprinter Trueno AE68 we all love.
It is Initial D, since this si a sequel of Initial D. They even reference Takumi's Toyota Corolla Sprinter Trueno ae86 in: -the number Kanata has -the model of the car (GT86, since the manga was made when the the GT86 was on circulation in 2019, but 2 years later Toyota made the GR86), is the next generation of the Corolla serie. -Takumi is literally reference like 6 times during the anime, and even the flash back showing the 4 wheel dift with the ae86.
Initial D was cool because any rando can toss a turbo in their shitter and get them selves killed in a street race. But MF ghost is all professional, it's too clean.
I know right? I mean sure it has it's flaws, but if I enjoy it a LOT then the reviews/opinions of others ISN'T going to stop me from watching this show! Besides the weird stuff this show displays, I can still enjoy the racing.
Because this series is very far from the reality when it comes to how cars work. Shigeno-san isn't very knowledgeable with cars and didn't have enough advisory from car guys when he made this series. But yeah, it's enjoyable as a show but for gearheads the opinions is very split
@camthebear7166 you aint part of the generation that screamed at the tv when that panda trueno suddenly grew a pair of wings after overtaking you wouldnt understand
