For me it’s fox and all ways will be. Delkim alarm to me look to boxy old fashioned but I will say the anti theft alarm is a lot better on the delkim. On any alarm why we need two or four or 800 meter range I don’t no I never away more than a swim or two away from my rods mostly one swim.
You need 3 chanel mixes to setup on one control stick you need to know what chanels the motors are on and set one chanel as a master and one as a slave Ie: Mix 1 master ch1 slave chanel 2 Positive 100% negative 100% Mix 2 master and slave both the same chanel ie : master chanel 1 Positive 0% negative -100% Mix 3 master chanel 1 slave chanel 2 Positive 0% negative-100% If any motors spin wrong direction just reverse that chanel in settings and hold cancel down to save
How is this with false beeps? Looking at the fox rx+ it needs to move the line the same way before 2 sec passes, any other way or no movement will reset the alarm. Which works great when fishing on a boat for example.
Just bought a set of fox RXs and selling my very unreliable delkims. Bought 4 txid set and sent two back within 6 months , they were replaced but one more stopped sounding , replaced again . Just thrown one in the bin for constant intermittent alarm . Not every buying again.
Hi, Thanks for the video, very helpful. I know it's been a long time since you uploaded it but I would be very grateful if you could share with me the mixing values for the motors to be controlled with just one stick. I had to replace my transmitter and I am struggling to setup the mixers for one stick to go right or left. Thanks again 👍
The best buzzer I’ve ever bought? The cheap fox ones ( I think they were £24 ) the ones with just on/off button and volume control. Bought them in 2007 I think and to this day never ever 1 problem. I guess it’s because they are so simple. No unnecessary complex electronics. Can anybody say the same about any other buzzers?
well the rx have some problem, but i love the optik and the sound. Delkims are fare better by far. i just hate the delkim sound and the missing drop back ....i have delkims for 15 years and never had some issues. i have also micron rx digital for 15 years and never had problems. but with the rx+ i had alot of problems in 6 years of using. i still love the rx+ cause of the sound ;)
Neat idea but falls a little short for the anti twist system as a permanent fix but definitely a good on the bank repair though. A simple key added to the part that inserts into the cut pole and add a cut out slot (for the key to home), on the cut pole may solve the twist issue. I'm a mechanical engineering craftsman for the record and a passionate fisherman. Cheers guys good video 👍
My delks have been faultless for decades now. They've been dropped, frozen, spent countless hours in pouring rain and always worked like new. Why change when you have 200% confidence in your kit? Also, (haters gonna hate) but the vibration sensing is still by far the superior product.
Or just put the bivvy up properly in the first place and no need for these. On my 4th tempest now and never had a snapped pole or block. The last three tempests I had were all sold in perfect condition as I’ve moved onto another model. All the bad reviews I’ve heard on tempests are nothing more than down to pure hamfisted users.
Not much being said about the bite detection. I think Delkim's vibration sensor covers a wider range of angling situations better than roller wheel alarms (e.g. snag fishing, predator fishing). I agree for standard carp fishing that both are very good, but I was finally convinced to swap from my old Fox alarms (admittedly not top of the range ones) to Delkims about 5 years ago after watching a bite on the rod tip that did not take line and did not activate the alarm. No regrets, my Delkims are brilliant (previous model TXi, not the new TXi-D).
i have the delkim s not good 1 alarm lost 1 light,1 alarm dosen't beep sometimes if i play whith the volume, reciver new battery lasted forever now 48 h and the battery drains even if you switched of
Hate the look of fox alarms, so cheap looking, looks like a fucking ron thompson alarm ffs. Love the minimalistic look of delkim. Also the sound and sens of delkim, there is nothing better than delkim warbling! Love my delkims, if i would even consider other alarms it would be nash siren
I did this, but after trimming and put de remote down en then put it on again, the settings are the same as before 😕 How can I make sure, the new settings that I make will stay? Thanks!
Hello every one ! I just have the same issue and resolve it 😊 To save your change you MUST to press the cancel button longer then the bip is different and it saved If you just press quickly the cancel button it doesn’t work
I have a set of foxes that I like, but am keen on getting a set of Delkims for braid - Delkim however seem to put out the worst promo vids I’ve ever seen, and more often than not convince me they aren’t good enough.
My Hitlist: 1. Carpsounder Age One, Made in Germany with perfect livetime service 2. Delkim Made in UK with perfect livetime service 3. Atts Made in UK and perfect livetime service 4-100 Fox Made in China without a service for customers, the same like All china buzzers for the 4-5x price.
What. Where they have used composite (plastic) bends instead of pipe bent tubular alloy???? That was a really bad move from fox to save a few quid on pipe benders. When the uv attacks that plastic you’ll see plenty getting broken.
